Anthony Stirrat

Anthony Alexander Stirrat (* 30. Juni 1970 in Irvine (North Ayrshire)) ist ein ehemaliger britischer Radrennfahrer und nationaler Meister im Radsport.

Sportliche Laufbahn

Stirrat war im Bahnradsport aktiv und Teilnehmer der Olympischen Sommerspiele 1988 in Barcelona. Im 1000-Meter-Zeitfahren belegte er beim Sieg von José Moreno Periñán Platz 14. Die nationale Meisterschaft im 1000-Meter-Zeitfahren gewann er 1992, im Teamsprint 1993, im Scratch 1994. Vizemeister wurde er 1991 und 1993 im Zeitfahren, 1993 und 1995 im Omnium. Meisterschaftsdritter wurde er 1990 und 1995 im Sprint, 1994 und 1995 im Punktefahren, 1995 im Zeitfahren, 2005 und 2006 im Omnium. Bei den Commonwealth Games 1994 startete er für Schottland. Im Scratch wurde er 12., im Punktefahren 7. und im Zeitfahren 12.
