Anna Stewart Brisbin (* 13. September 1991[1] in Aiken, South Carolina[2]) ist eine US-amerikanische Webvideoproduzentin, Stimmenimitatorin, Synchronsprecherin und Schauspielerin.

Leben

Brisbin wuchs in South Carolina auf.[3] Sie besuchte die Tisch School of the Arts an der New York University, wo sie Schauspiel studierte und das Schauspielprogramm der Stonestreet Studios absolvierte.[4][5] Sie ist eine Nichte der Schauspielerin, Sängerin und Synchronsprecherin Grey DeLisle.[6]

Brisbin ist ein großer Fan von Nickelodeon-Cartoons, Disney-Filmen/Cartoons, Anime und Harry Potter. Besonders letzteres Franchise bezeichnet als den größten Einfluss in ihrem Leben und als den Hauptgrund dafür, warum sie Schauspielerin geworden ist. Sie betrieb auch eine Zeit lang die aus Harry Potter bekannte Sportart Quidditch. Bei einem Spiel zog sie sich eine Verletzung in der Nähe ihres linken Schlüsselbeins zu, von der sie noch heute eine Narbe hat.[7]

Neben ihrer Muttersprache Englisch spricht Brisbin fließend Spanisch, da sie während ihrer Studienzeit vier Monate in Madrid verbrachte, um die spanische Sprache zu erlernen.[8]

Brisbin lebt offen bisexuell.[9]

Karriere

Brisbin ist vor allem für ihre Videos auf ihrem YouTube-Kanal Brizzy Voices bekannt, den sie 2012 ins Leben rief. Ihr erstes Video auf diesem Kanal, in dem sie die Stimmen der ersten 151 Pokémon imitierte, wurde über 27 Mio. Mal aufgerufen und war für längere Zeit ihr meistaufgerufenes Video, bis es von ihrer Coverversion von Do You Want to Build a Snowman aus dem Disney-Film Die Eiskönigin – Völlig unverfroren übertroffen wurde. Seitdem hat sich Brisbin zu einer gefragten Synchronsprecherin, hauptsächlich für Videospiele, entwickelt.

Sie wirkt außerdem bei mehreren Podcasts mit: den Harry-Potter-bezogenen Podcast Fantastic Geeks and Where to Find Them mit ihrer Freundin Tessa Netting[10], außerdem ist sie Teil der Podcast-Reihe Cast Party, in der sie und drei weitere Personen durch ein magisches Missgeschick in die Welt von Dungeons & Dragons geraten.[11]
