Aeolis Serpens ist ein gewundenes Oberflächenmerkmal mit Abschnitten mit positivem und negativem Relief entlang ihrer Länge in der Region Elysium Planitia auf dem Mars.

Es gibt „Dorsa“ (Bergrücken) für positive und „Vallis“ (Täler) für negative schlängelnde Oberflächenmerkmale. Auf dem Mars gibt es jedoch gewundene Merkmale, die entlang ihres Verlaufs sowohl negative als auch positive Eigenschaften aufweisen. Als sie entstanden, waren Serpentes entweder positive oder negative Oberflächenmerkmale (wahrscheinlich negative: Flussniederungen), und ihre heutige Besonderheit wurde durch unterschiedliche Erosion und Zementierung verursacht.[1]
