Pwyntiau bonws yw pwyntiau twrnamaint grŵp a ddyfernir mewn twrnameintiau rygbi sy'n ychwanegol i'r pwyntiau safonol ar gyfer ennill neu ddod yn gyfartal. Rhoddwyd pwyntiau bonws ar waith er mwyn annog chwarae ymosodol trwy gydol gêm, er mwyn atal ciciau gôl ailadroddus, ac i wobrwyo timau am "ddod yn agos" wrth golli.

System safonol

Y system pwynt bonws mwyaf cyffredin yw:

  • 4 pwynt ar gyfer ennill gêm
  • 2 bwynt am ddod yn gyfartal
  • 0 pwynt am golli gêm
  • 1 pwynt bonws colli am golli o 7 pwynt (neu lai)
  • 1 bwynt bonws cais am sgorio (o leiaf) 3 cais mwy na'r gwrthwynebydd

Yn y system hon, mae timau sy'n ennill yn cael 4 neu 5 pwynt; timau sy'n dod yn gyfartal yn cael 2 bwynt; a thimau sy'n colli yn cael 0 neu 1 pwynt.

Systemau amrywiol

Ffrainc

Mae'r cynghrair proffesiynol Ffrengig, Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR), yn defnyddio system debyg yn ei ddwy gystadleuaeth, y Top 14 a Rygbi Pro D2 . Ar ôl treialu'r system yn 2007-08, mabwysiadodd LNR y system newydd yn barhaol ar ôl y tymor hwnnw. [1]

Mae'r system Ffrengig yn dyfarnu pwyntiau fel hyn:

  • 4 pwynt ar gyfer ennill.
  • 2 bwynt am ddod yn gyfartal.
  • 1 pwynt "bonws" am ennill wrth sgorio o leiaf 3 cais yn fwy na'r gwrthwynebwr.
  • 1 pwynt "bonws" ar gyfer colli o ddim mwy na swm penodol. Trwy'r tymor 2013-14, roedd y gwahaniaeth yn 7 pwynt; o ddechrau tymor 2014-15, gostyngwyd y gwahaniaeth i 5. [2]

Mae'r system hon yn atal tîm sy'n colli codi dau bwynt bonws yn yr un gêm, fel sy'n bosibl o dan y system arferol. [3] Mae hefyd yn golygu na fydd y ddau dîm yn ennill pwynt bonws mewn gêm gyfartal.

Awstralia NRC (2014-2016)

Am ei dri thymor cyntaf o 2014 i 2016, defnyddiodd Pencampwriaeth Rygbi Cenedlaethol Awstralia system eithaf tebyg i un Ffrainc:

  • 4 pwynt ar gyfer ennill.
  • 2 bwynt am ddod yn gyfartal.
  • 1 pwynt "bonws" ar gyfer ennill wrth sgorio o leiaf 3 cais yn fwy na'r gwrthwynebwr.
  • 1 pwynt "bonws" ar gyfer colli o ddim mwy na 8 pwynt (gwerth trosgais o dan yr amrywiadau cyfreithiol a ddefnyddiwyd yn ystod y tymhorau hynny).

Yn 2017 dychwelodd y NRC (gan gynnwys tîm yn Fiji ) at y system sgorio safonol o bum pwynt ar gyfer cais, dau ar gyfer trosiad a thri am gic gosb neu gôl adlam. [4] Felly, roedd y system pwynt bonws yn cyd-fynd â'r system SANZAAR a fabwysiadwyd yn eang yn y flwyddyn honno.

SANZAAR

Yn 2016, symudodd Super Rugby yn y gwledydd SANZAAR, yr Ariannin, Awstralia, Seland Newydd a De Affrica, gyda thîm yn Japan, o'r system safonol i'r system Ffrengig wreiddiol, hy

  • 4 pwynt ar gyfer ennill.
  • 2 bwynt am ddod yn gyfartal.
  • 1 pwynt "bonws" am ennill wrth sgorio o leiaf 3 cais yn fwy na'r gwrthwynebwr.
  • 1 pwynt "bonws" am golli o lai na 7 pwynt (gwerth trosgais).

Estynnodd SANZAAR y newid hwn i'r Bencampwriaeth Rygbi, a gystadlwyd gan dimau cenedlaethol y dynion o'r pedwar gwlad oedd yn chware yn 2017. [5]

Chwe Gwlad

Defnyddiodd Pencampwriaeth y Chwe Gwlad 2017 y system pwyntiau bonws safonol fel treial, gyda'r nodwedd ychwanegol y byddai tîm sy'n ennill y Gamp Lawn yn ennill tri phwynt bonws ychwanegol i sicrhau bod tîm sy'n ennill y gamp lawn yn sicr o ennill y twrnamaint.
