Neuadd a neilltuwyd i fyfyrwyr Cymraeg eu hiaith ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth yw Neuadd Pantycelyn. Mae wedi ei leoli ar Ffordd Penglais yn nhref Aberystwyth. Yma mae cartref Côr Aelwyd Pantycelyn a hefyd swyddfa UMCA. Fe'i hagorwyd ar ddechrau'r 1950au ond fe'i newidiwyd i fod yn neuadd Gymraeg ym 1974. Dirprwy Warden presennol y Neuadd yw'r ysgolhaig ifanc Adrian Morgan.

Yn 2008 trafodwyd y posibilrwydd o gau'r neuadd fel rhan o ymgynghoriad ar ddyfodol llety myfyrwyr ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth. [1]

Ar Ddydd Sul y 14eg o Fedi yn 2015, meddiannodd myfyrwyr y Neuadd o flaen cyfarfod cyngor y Brifysgol i wneud penderfyniad ar sicrhau ai peidio dyfodol y sefydliad ar 22ain o Fehefin. [2] Cynhaliwyd deiseb i gadw'r neuaddau ar agor ac, erbyn yr 22ain o Fedi, bu dros 2,700 o enwau arni. O ganlyniad i hyn, pleidleisiodd cyngor y brifysgol i ailagor Pantycelyn fel neuadd breswyl o fewn pedair blynedd yn dilyn gwaith adnewyddu.[3]

Penderfynodd Cyngor Prifysgol Aberystwyth ar y seithfed ar hugain o Dachwedd 2017 i fuddsoddi £12 miliwn i adnewyddu'r neuadd[4]. Gwelwyd hwn fel cam mawr yn yr ymgyrch i sicrhau bod y Neuadd yn ail Agor erbyn Medi 2019 gyda Llywydd UMCA Gwion Llwyd yn  "falch iawn o’r penderfyniad"[5] Mi fydd y gwaith o ddechrau adnewyddu'r adeilad yn dechrau ar ddechrau Chwefror 2018.

Cyhoeddodd y Brifysgol bod angen oedi ail agor y Neuadd i'r flwyddyn 2020 oherwydd nad oedd digon o waith wedi ei wneud o flaen llaw. Er hyn rydym yn nodi ei fod yn ymroddedig i'w ailagor blwyddyn yn hwyrach gyda chyllid yn ei le gyda chymorth £5 miliwn y Llywodraeth.[6]

Roedd y neuadd yn cael ei weld fel pwerdy o genedlaetholdeb gyda sawl gwleidydd ac ymgyrchwyr Iaith wedi galw'r neuadd yn gartref am gyfnod. Yn ddiwylliannol ceir brith o draddodiadau gyda sawl bardd yn dysgu ei grefft yno. Mae'r cysylltiad Pantycelyn gyda cherddoriaeth Cymraeg yn amlwg heddiw gyda sawl band nodedig yn dod i fodolaeth yn y Neuadd megis Yr Ods[7]
