Awdur a newyddiadurwraig o Loegr yw Lynne Truss (ganwyd 31 Mai 1955[1] yn Kingston upon Thames, Surrey).[2]
Cychwynnodd ei gyrfa wrth olygu adran lyfrau The Listener, a daeth yn feirniad, colofnydd a gohebydd chwaraeon i The Times.[3]
Ei gwaith enwocaf yw ei llyfr poblogaidd ar atalnodi, Eats, Shoots and Leaves (2003), sy'n ddoniol feirniadol o'r cam-atalnodi y mae'n ei weld o ddydd i ddydd. Yn 2005 cyhoeddodd llyfr yn trafod moesau yn yr un arddull o'r enw Talk to the Hand.
