Homoffobia

Term anghlinigol[3][4] a ddefnyddir i ddisgrifio ofn, gwrthnawsedd i, neu wahaniaethu yn erbyn cyfunrywioldeb neu gyfunrywiolion[5][6] yw homoffobia (o'r Roeg ὁμο homo, "cyfun" + φοβία (ffobia), "ofn"). Gall hefyd olygu casineb, gelyniaeth, anghymeradwyaeth, neu ragfarn tuag at gyfunrywiolion, neu ymddygiad neu ddiwylliannau cyfunrywiol.[6]

Cred rhai bod unrhyw ddefnydd o'r gair homoffobia yn ddadleuol[7] ac mae nifer o eiriaduron yn disgrifio'r fath hwn o ofn yn afresymol.[6][8][9] Mewn rhai defnyddiau mae'r ystyr yn ymglymu deurywioldeb, trawsrywedd ac/neu unrhyw rywioldeb nad yw'n heterorywiol yn ogystal â chyfunrywioldeb.[10][11]

Marwolaeth Dr Gary Jenkins

Bu farw Dr Gary Robert Jenkins, seicatrydd yng Nghaerdydd, ar 5 Awst 2021 wedi ymosodiad homoffobig arno ym Mharc Bute. Roedd Dr Jenkins yn 54 oed ac yn dad i ddau blentyn. Bu farw wedi dros wythnos o driniaeth yn yr ysbyty yn dilyn yr ymosodiad. Yn dilyn dedfrydu tri person am ei farwolaeth, cynhaliwyd gwylnos er cof amdano ac yn erbyn homoffobia ar risiau Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Cymru ar nos Sul 6 Chwefror 2022.[12]
