Horní Kouty (německy Ober Kaut) je malá vesnice, část města Mladá Vožice v okrese Tábor. Nachází se asi 3,5 km na jihovýchod od Mladé Vožice. Je zde evidováno 8 adres.[3] V roce 2011 zde trvale žilo sedm obyvatel.[4] Osadou protéká Koutecký potok, který je pravostranným přítokem řeky Blanice.

Horní Kouty leží v katastrálním území Janov u Mladé Vožice o výměře 6,02 km2.[5]

Historie

První písemná zmínka o vesnici pochází z roku 1318.[6]
