Scorpaenodes scaber és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels escorpènids.[5]

Descripció

Hàbitat

És un peix marí, associat als esculls de corall i de clima tropical que viu entre 3-30 m de fondària.[6][9]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a les Maldives i des del Japó fins a Austràlia.[6][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][7][18][19][20][21][9][22][8][23]

Observacions

És verinós per als humans.[6]
