Electrona subaspera és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Morfologia

Els mascles poden assolir 12,7 cm de longitud total.^[1]^[2]

Depredadors

És depredat per Champsocephalus gunnari, Micromesistius australis (a Nova Zelanda), Lampris immaculatus (Illes Malvines),^[3] Macruronus novaezelandiae (Nova Zelanda), Dissostichus eleginoides, Arctocephalus gazella (Illes del Príncep Eduard) i Arctocephalus tropicalis (Illes del Príncep Eduard).^[4]^[5]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes.^[1]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a l'hemisferi sud: oceans Antàrtic, Atlàntic, Índic i Pacífic.^[1]^[6]^[7] ^[8]^[9]^[10]^[11]^[12]^[13]
