Diaphus pacificus és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Reproducció

És ovípar amb larves i ous planctònics.^[3]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes.^[4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Nova Zelanda,^[5] el Pacífic oriental central^[6] i l'Estret de Taiwan.^[7]^[4]^[8]
