Novak Ramov Jovović

Novak Ramov Jovović (Markovina, Katunska nahija, 9. mart 1834 - Nikšić, 1910) bio je crnogorski brigadni barjaktar. Učesnik je Hercegovačkog ustanka 1875. godine, prvo kao jajoš (uskok) u odredu Peke Pavlovića, a zatim kao barjaktar čete. Od 1876. godine je brigadni barjaktar. U ratu od 1876—1878. godine, borio se u sastavu Čevsko-bjeličkog bataljona. U bojevima je odsjekao trideset neprijateljskih glava, ali zadobio je i deset teških rana – što puškom što nožem. Na Vučjem Dolu kuršum mu je prošao sredinom grudi. [1] Bio je učesnik svetosavske proslave u Brezoviku kod Nikšića 1909. godine gdje je prvi podigao zdravicu za zdravlje kneza Nikole Petrovića. [2] Sahranjen je sa južne strane hrama svetog Vasilija Ostroškog u Nikšiću.
