Lokalni izbori u Bosni i Hercegovini 2016 (Banovići)

Glavni članak: Lokalni izbori u Bosni i Hercegovini 2016.

Općinski izbori za izbor načelnika i za 25 članova Općinskog vijeća općine Banovići održani su 2. oktobra 2016. godine. Izbori su održani na 36 biračkih mjesta, a pravo glasa imalo je 20.767 glasača. Glasati se moglo izlaskom na biračko mjesto, preko mobilnih timova i poštom.[1][2]

Načelnik

Na izborima za načelnika izašlo je ukupno 16.698 glasača (80,4% od ukupnog broja), a od toga je 15.744 (94,29%) glasova bilo važećih, te 954 (5,71%) nevažećih. Sa ukupno 14.173 glasova (90,02%) za načelnika izabran je Midhat Husić, član koalicije SDA/SBB.[1]

Od ukupno 24 mandata na pojedine partije otpada:
      SDA: 21
      SDP BiH: 2
      SBB: 1

Na izborima za Općinsko vijeće izašlo je ukupno 16.699 glasača (80,41% od ukupnog broja), a od toga je 15.903 (95,23%) glasova bilo važećih, te 796 (4,77%) nevažećih. Birano je ukupno 25 članova Vijeća, te su oni izabrani po broju osvojenih glasova po listama, dok je odabir predstavnika iz pojedine partije, vršen po najvećem broju glasova. Najviše glasova dobila je Stranka demokratske akcije 13.723 (87,13% od ukupnog broja važećih glasova).[2]
