Ilija Došen

Ilija Došen (Vedro Polje, kod Bosanskog Petrovca, 14. septembra 1914 — Beograd, 1991) bio je narodni heroj Jugoslavije, politički komesar 5. bosanskog (krajiškog) korpusa NOVJ.

Biografija

Osnovnu školu završio je u Oštrelju kod Bosanskog Petrovca, a gimnaziju u Prijedoru, Trebinju i Bihaću. Diplomirao je na Pravnom fakultetu u Beogradu 1940.[1].

Po okupaciji Jugoslavije 1941, bio je zadužen da radi na organizovanju ustanka u okolini Bosanskog Petrovca.[2] Jula 1941. godine, bio je postavljen za političkog komesara štaba Bosanskopetrovačkog sreza i sekretara Sreskog komiteta KPJ u Bosanskom Petrovcu. Bio je član Oblasnog komiteta KPJ za Bosansku krajinu.

Za njega je vezan jedan događaj kada je pokazao pravičnost i ljudskost. U ljeto 1941 ustanici su zarobili petrovačkog načelnika Rifata Kulenovića kojeg su ustaše postavile na tu funkciju. Po dolasku na dužnost, Kulenović je odmah oslobodio zarobljenike iz ustaškog zatvora. Znajući za taj njegov gest, Došen mu se zahvalio, pustio ga i nije dozvolio da ustanici likvidiraju zarobljenog Kulenovića.

Bio je vijećnik ZAVNOBiH-a i AVNOJ-a od njegovog prvog zasjedanja u Bihaću.

Poslije rata obavljao je mnoge poslove u republičkoj i saveznoj administraciji, kao što su ministar unutrašnjih poslova u prvoj vladi NR BiH, pomoćnik ministra trgovine u vladi FNRJ, predsjeednik kontrolne komisije vlade NR BiH. Takođe je bio predsjeednik Vrhovnog suda BiH, Vrhovnog suda Jugoslavije.

Nosilac je Partizanske spomenice 1941, Ordena narodnog oslobođenja i ostalih jugoslavenskih odlikovanja.
