Адкрытае мора — у міжнародным праве частка Сусветнага акіяна па-за межамі тэрытарыяльных водаў якой-небудзь дзяржавы. Знаходзіцца ў агульным карыстанні ўсіх краін, на яго не распаўсюджваецца ўлада прыбярэжных дзяржаў, і судны падпарадкоўваюцца толькі краіне, пад сцягам якой яны ідуць. Прынцып свабоды адкрытага мора замацаваны Жэнеўскімі канвенцыямі па марскім праве 1958 і Канвенцыяй ААН па марскім праве 1982. Гэты прынцып ажыццяўляецца на аснове раўнапраўя як прыбярэжнымі, так і непрыбярэжнымі дзяржавамі, у тым ліку дзяржавамі, якія не маюць выхаду да мора.
