NGC 5171, Yeni Ümumi Kataloqda qeydə alınmış qalaktika. Göy üzündə Qız bürcü istiqamətində yerləşir. E-S0 tipli qalaktikadır. Amerika astronomu George Hough tərəfindən 1883-cü ildə 46.99 sm (18.5 inç) ölçülü refraktor vasitəsilə kəşf edilmişdir.[6]
