NGC 2831 — Yeni Ümumi Kataloqda qeydə alınmış qalaktika. Göy üzündə Vaşaq bürcü istiqamətində yerləşir. E0 tipli qalaktikadır. Vilyam Parsons tərəfindən 1850-ci ildə 182.88 sm (72 düymə) ölçülü reflektor vasitəsilə kəşf edilmişdir.[7]
