Una Villa Olímpica ye una instalación creada p'allugar a los atletes que van participar nunos xuegos olimpicos. Una villa olímpica ta conformada por instalaciones nes que los atletes pueden vivir, aliméntase y entrenar. N'ocasiones incorpora tamién peluquería, centros comerciales, cibercafé y otres comodidaes.

Hasta los Xuegos Olímpicos de 1924 los comités olímpicos de #cada país participante teníen qu'arrendar propiedaes cerca de la ciudá anfitriona, nos mesmos xuegos de 1924 construyéronse cabines cerca del Stade Olympique de Colombes por que los atletes tardaren menos tiempu en llegar al estadiu, nos Xuegos Olímpicos de Berlín 1936 surdió la villa olímpica que se tien como base de les del día de güei, esta villa olímpica consistía nun grupu d'edificios que tenía dellos cuartos p'agospiar a los atletes y otros edificios p'allugar les materies primes necesaries pa los xuegos.

Llista de delles Villes Olímpiques

  • Los Angeles 1932: Construyóse la primer villa olímpica que taba alcontrada en Baldwin Hills, nes contornes de Los Angeles. Foi construyida p'atletes masculinos, cuntaba con una oficina postal, una de telégrafos, un Anfiteatru, un Hospital, un Departamentu de Bomberos y un Bancu. Les atletes femenines fueron agospiaes nel Chapman Park Hotel.
  • Berlín 1936: Cerca de 145 habitaciones n'edificios d'unu y dos pisos, la villa olímpica tenía un Teatru, un Sable Deportivu, un Hospital, un Banzáu y una Sauna, la villa alcontrábase alrodiu de 6 Milles al oeste de Berlín.
  • Melbourne 1956: Foi la primer vegada que se fixo referencia a esta construcción como Villa Olímpica, esta villa incluyía un Centru Deportivu, una Escuela Primaria y Tiendes conformaben la villa.
  • Squaw Valley 1960: Construyéronse 4 edificios idénticos de 3 pisos caúna, dos de los edificios siguen de pies y fueron acondicionaos como condominios.
  • Méxicu 1968: (páxina principal Villa Olímpica (Ciudá de Méxicu)).

  • Moscú 1980: Construyéronse 18 edificios con 16 plantes #cada unu.
  • Los Angeles 1984: Los atletes agospiáronse na UCLA, USC y la UCSB.
  • Calgary 1988: Fueron construyíos edificios qu'agora formen parte del conxuntu residencial Cougar Ridge.
  • Atlanta 1996: Fueron utilizaes les instalaciones del Institutu Teunolóxicu de Georgia y la Universidá del Estáu de Georgia.
  • Sydney 2000: Foi creáu en nuevu suburbiu Newington
  • Atenes 2004: Foi construyíu un suburbiu que tenía edificios de 4 a 5 plantes, el suburbiu foi creáu nel área parnitha que s'alcuentra al noroeste d'Atenes.
  • Turín 2006: La villa #alcontrar nes ciudaes de Bardonecchia, Sestriere y Turín.
