Talia Rose Coppola, conocida como Talia Shire (25 d'abril de 1946, Nueva York), ye una actriz d'Estaos Xuníos. Los sos papeles más conocíos son como Connie Corleone en The Godfather y Adrianna Pennino Balboa na saga de Rocky.

Biografía

Talia Rose Coppola nació en Lake Success, Nueva York, fía d'Italia Pennino Coppola y el compositor Carmine Coppola.[6] Ye hermana del direutor y productor Francis Ford Coppola y tía del actor Nicolas Cage y de la direutora Sofia Coppola. Casóse col músicu David Shire, col que tuvo un fíu, Matthew Orlando Shire. Tuvo otros dos fíos: Jason Schwartzman y Robert Schwartzman (vocalista de Rooney y del proyeutu en solitariu SoloBob), del so segundu matrimoniu col productor Jack Schwartzman.

Shire saltó a la fama gracies a ser hermana del productor Francis Ford Coppola quien-y dio'l papel de Connie Corleone en The Godfather (1972) y The Godfather Part II (1974). Na primer entrega, el so gran papel valió-y la primer de los dos nominaciones a los Premiu Óscar.

En 1976, consolidaría la so condición d'actriz de calter al aceptar el papel de Adrianna Pennino Balboa, a la que llamen col nome masculín Adrian, la esposa del boxeador Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), pol que llograría una segunda nominación a los Óscar. Siguiría faciendo'l papel de Adrianna na serie de películes de Rocky. Sería la esposa de Rocky Balboa na saga hasta la so quinta entrega, pa la sesta y hasta agora, última entrega de la franquicia (Rocky Balboa), estrenada en 2006, el personaxe qu'interpreta Shire (Adrian), fina, pero Shire apaez na pelicula, a tráves de flashbacks.

Según el Rocky Scrapbook (llibru de retayos de Rocky) la primer actriz escoyida pal papel de Adrianna Pennino (Balboa dempués) foi Carrie Snodgress, pero per falta d'alcuerdu económicu foi refugada. La prueba de Talia Shire impresionó tanto a Stallone como a los productores. El so aspeutu, la so interpretación, la so guapura ya inclusive el so voz convertir na perfecta Adrianna Pennino.
