Ryu (escuela)

Ryu (流, ryū: lliteralmente "corriente", inclusive "corriente principal"), o Ryuha (流派, ryūha, que vien ser "escuela que sigue la corriente principal"), ye un términu xaponés que se refier a una escuela de pensamientu en cualesquier disciplina. Alcuéntrase normalmente n’escueles de les artes marciales xaponeses, pero tamién nes más variaes disciplines; por casu la Nihonkoryu y la Sogetsuryu n’ikebana, o la Kanteiryu en shodo (caligrafía), etc.

Ryu y ryuha son práuticamente sinónimos en xaponés. Quiciabes ha (orixinalmente "afluente") sería una división más pequeña que ryu (orixinalmente "masa d'agua").

Ryu aveza tamién tornase a "estilu" (estilu d'un arte marcial, estilu de caligrafía, estilu del arte de cocinar, etc.)
