Rubén Garabaya Arenas(15 de setiembre de 1978, Avilés) ye un xugador de balonmano asturianu. Xuega na posición de pivós nel club Naturhouse La Rioxa de la lliga ASOBAL. Ye internacional cola selección de balonmano d'España, cola que xugó'l campeonatu mundial de 2005 en Tunicia y el campeonatu d'Alemaña 2007.

El 27 d'avientu de 2006 foi operáu na Clínica Virxe de La Salú de Valladolid d'una quebra na ñariz, que sufrió nun entrenamientu cola selección española mientres preparaben el campeonatu mundial d'Alemaña. Esta mancadura fizo que fuera sustituyíu pol tamién pivós Carlos Prieto mientres la so recuperación, finalmente recuperóse a tiempu pal mundial y ocupó el so puestu na selección. Foi convocáu pa xugar l'européu de balonmano de Noruega del 2008[2]
