Primeros años
Harris nació en Worthington, Ohio. Graduóse na escuela secundaria Worthington (renombrada Thomas Worthington). Graduóse na Universidá Otterbein; en 1989,[4] especializándose en teatru.
Carrera
Harris realizó col grupu de teatru improvisacional de Los Angeles, California, los Groundlings, y enseñó mientres un tiempu cola escuela Groundlings.[5] Debutó na televisión nel episodiu de 1993 de SeaQuest DVS.
Dempués d'una apaición en Star Trek: Voyager en 1997, Harris tuvo nun papel recurrente na serie Sister, Sister. Otros creitos en televisión incluyeron un tiempu como corresponsal pa The Daily Show en 2002-2003, como tamién en papels en The Sarah Silverman Program, Reno 911!, The West Wing, Friends, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Monk, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation y en payares de 2008, en Desperate Housewives.
Harris interpretó nun papel de Kevyn Shecket, la maquilladora personal de Kirstie Alley, en Fat Actress nel 2005. Interpretó a Cooper na serie Notes from the Underbelly.
