L'Estadiu Rungrado Primeru de Mayu, construyíu en Corea del Norte, ye l'estadiu de fútbol más grande del mundu. Cuenta con capacidá pa 150.000 espectadores.

Un estadiu (del llatín stadĭum, y esti del griegu στάδιον stádion[1]) ye una construcción zarrada con graderías pa los espectadores, destináu a competiciones deportives.[1] Puede ser al campu o cubiertu.

Ye usáu pa dellos tipos de deportes que son populares a nivel mundial como'l fútbol, el rugbi, el béisbol, fútbol americano, tenis, etc. Los estadios pueden influyir de manera bien importante na economía d'un país allugando toa clase d'eventos deportivos dependiendo de la capacidá que presenten. Consiste nun campu de grandes dimensiones arrodiáu per una estructura diseñada por que los espectadores puedan tar de pies o sentaos viendo l'acontecimientu. Dende tiempos remotos siempres formaron parte de la vida cotidiana de les persones.

Historia de los estadios

Anque orixinariamente y de forma estricta, un estadiu tenía de tener pista d'atletismu y ser capaz d'allugar competiciones d'esi deporte, na dómina contemporánea, el términu estadiu pasó a aplicase tamién cualesquier gran infraestructura deportiva con graderías y campu central, inclusive cubiertes.
