Clasificación biolóxica

La clasificación biolóxica o clasificación científica en bioloxía, ye un métodu nel que los biólogos xunten y categoricen les especies d'organismos (seya especies estintes o vives) y a los sos distintos conxuntos (taxones). La clasificación biolóxica ye una forma de taxonomía científica que s'estrema de la taxonomía popular, qu'escarez de base científica. La moderna clasificación biolóxica nació colos trabayos de Carlos Linneo (1753), quien arrexuntó a les especies d'alcuerdu a les sos carauterístiques físiques compartíes y normalizó la so denominación. Esta clasificación foi revisada p'adautala a la idea darwiniana del antepasáu común. Los analises moleculares d'ADN, qu'usen como datos secuencies d'ADN, tán conduciendo la mayoría de les más recién revisiones por ésti camín. La clasificación biolóxica pertenez a la ciencia de la bioloxía sistemática.

La clasificación científica ye una de les xeres de la bioloxía sistemática, y, más en particular, de la taxonomía biolóxica, que non yá almite una xerarquización de carauterístiques y funciones (taxonomía), sinón que tamién dexa afitar un esquema de parentescos, semeyances y rellaciones (sistemática) ente los distintos organismos.

La utilidá principal de la clasificación ye que nun nivel científicu haya un consensu xeneral y cuasi universal pa establecer un orde esquemáticu sobre la descomanada bayura y diversidá de los organismos.
