Christine Josephine Sandberg, conocida como Christine Cavanaugh (16 d'agostu de 1963, Layton (es) Traducir – 22 d'avientu de 2014, Cedar City (es) Traducir) foi una actriz de voz d'Estaos Xuníos.[2] Foi conocida por emprestar la so voz na película de 1995: Babe y Gosalyn Mallard en El Coríu Darkwing ente otros.

Tuvo n'activu hasta 2001.[3][4][5]

Biografía

Vida temprana

En 1981 estudió nel Institutu de Layton y darréu ingresaría na Universidá Estatal d'Utah y la d'Hawaii onde conocería al so futuru home: Kevin Cavanaugh, con quien contraería matrimoniu y divorciaríase en 1985.[6] Sicasí, siguió calteniendo'l so apellíu de casada como nome artísticu.[7]

Cavanaugh profesaba la relixón mormona.[8]

Trayeutoria artística

Debutó en 1988 como actriz de doblaxe na adautación a la versión n'inglés de la película David and the Magic Pearl. En 1991 pasaría a ser la voz de Gosalyn Mallard en El Coríu Darkwing y en 1994 como Chuckie Finster en Rugrats.

Otros proyeutos nos que trabayó foi en The Critic, Sonic the Hedgehog, 101 Dalmatians: The Series, Hercules: The Animated Series, The Powerpuff Girls, The Wild Thornberrys y Recess.

En 1995 foi escoyida pa emprestar la so voz en Babe al personaxe homónimo y principal,[9] papel que refugó pa la secuela de 1998, añu nel qu'aceptó dar vida a Tommy Pickles en Rugrats.[10] Otra serie destacada na que tuvo foi Dexter's Laboratory siendo al empar la voz comercial pa la cadena Cartoon Network. En 2010 llograría un Premiu Annie a la Meyor Actriz de Voz.[11]

Tocantes a la pequeña pantalla, participó en series como Salute Your Shorts, Cheers, Empty Nest Wings, The X-Files, Everybody Loves Raymond, y ER amás de compartir cartelu con Jerry Maguire en Soulmates.[5]

Fallecimientu

El 22 d'avientu de 2014 finó na so casa de Cedar City ensin trescender les causes. Nel momentu tenía 51 años.[3][4][5]
