William Mark "Bill" Fagerbakke (4 d'ochobre de 1957, Fontana) ye un actor d'Estaos Xuníos de cine, televisión y de voz. Los sos papeles principales inclúin la voz de Patricio Estrella na serie animada Bob Esponxa, el papel de Michael "Dauber" Dybinski na comedia Entrenador y la so personificación de Marvin Eriksen, el padre de Marshall Eriksen, en How I Met Your Mother.

Biografía

Fagerbakke nació en Fontana, California. Cursó los sos estudios secundarios na Minico High School, en Rupert, Idaho, y más tarde asistió a la Universidá d'Idaho. Xugó al fútbol americano pa los Vandals hasta qu'una mancadura terminó cola so carrera deportiva, polo que decidió dedicase al teatru. Más tarde, asistió a la Southern Methodist University, en Dallas.

Participó en delles series de televisión, como l'entrenador asistente "Dauber" Dybinski en Entrenador; en películes, como Funny Farm; y en delles obres de Broadway.[3][4] Personificó a Tom Cullen, un home con problemes mentales, na miniserie de 1994 Apocalipsis. En 1999, interpretó al oficial Karl Metzger na serie orixinal de HBO Oz. Ye la voz de Patricio Estrella na serie Bob Esponxa, de Nickelodeon.[5]

En 2007, fixo un caméu na serie Heroes, como Steve Gustavson, nos episodios "Run" y "Unexpected". Fagerbakke foi aclamáu pola crítica como tespiano pol Screen Actors Guild y la Escuela d'Actuación Juilliard polos sos papeles como Shylock en The Merchant of Venice, de William Shakespeare, y como Torvald en A Doll's House, d'Ibsen.[4] En 2009, volvió participar nuna película, titulada Jennifer's Body. Dende 2005, personifica a Marvin Eriksen, Sr., el padre de Marshall Eriksen, na comedia de CBS How I Met Your Mother.
