Yera fía de Lisímaco de Tracia y de Nicea, la so primer muyer. Casó nel añu 285 e.C. col faraón Ptolomeo II Filadelfo, como parte de l'alianza ente Tracia y Exiptu contra Seleuco I Nicátor, diádoco de Siria, teniendo con él trés fíos: Ptolomeo Evergetes, Lisímaco y Berenice Sira.
