حاكم كولورادو
حاكم ولاية كولورادو هو رئيس حكومة ولاية كولورادو الأمريكية . الحاكم هو رئيس السلطة التنفيذية لحكومة ولاية كولورادو و هو مكلف بتطبيق قوانين الولاية. يتمتع الحاكم بسلطة الموافقة أو الاعتراض على مشاريع القوانين اللى أقرتها الجمعية العامة فى كولورادو ، وعقد المجلس التشريعي، ومنح العفو ، باستثناء حالات الخيانة أو الإقالة.[ 1] الحاكم هو كمان القائد الأعلى للقوات العسكرية بالولاية. 7 أشخاص كان حاكم إقليم كولورادو على مدار 8 فترات، وتم تعيينهم على ايد رئيس امريكا. من إنشاء الولاية، كان فيه 38 حاكمًا، يخدمو 43 فترة مختلفة. خدم واحد من المحافظين ألفا آدامز 3 فترات غير متتالية، فى الوقت نفسه خدم جون لونج روت ، وجيمس هاميلتون بيبودى ، وإدوين سى جونسون خلال فترتين غير متتاليتين. و كان الحكام الأطول خدمة هم ريتشارد "ديك" لام (1975-1987) وروى رومر (1987-1999)، اللى خدموا لمدة 12 سنه على مدى 3 فترات. حصلت أقصر مدة فى 16 و 17 مارس 1905، لما كان للولاية 3 حكام فى 24 ساعة: كسب ألفا آدامز فى الانتخابات، لكن بعد وقت قصير من توليه منصبه، أعلن المجلس التشريعى أن خصمه، جيمس هاميلتون بيبودى ، حاكمًا، لكن بشرط أن يستقيل على الفور، لحد يبقا نائب الحاكم جيسى ماكدونالد حاكمًا. و بيبودى خدم أقل من يوم واحد . الحاكم الحالى هو الديمقراطى جاريد بوليس ، اللى تولى منصبه فى 8 يناير 2019.
الحكام
إقليم جيفرسون
تم تنظيم الحكومة المؤقتة المعلنة ذاتى لإقليم جيفرسون فى 7 نوفمبر 1859. تشمل منطقة جيفرسون كل ولاية كولورادو دلوقتى ، لكن تمتد حوالى 3 miles (5 km) للشرق، 138 miles (222 km) للشمال، وحوالى 50 miles (80 km) للغرب. ماعترفتش الحكومة الفيدرالية بالإقليم فى الأيام المضطربة اللى سبقت الحرب الأهلية الأمريكية . كان لمنطقة جيفرسون حاكم واحد بس، و هو روبرت ويليامسون ستيل ، و هو ديمقراطى مؤيد للاتحاد تم انتخابه عن طريق التصويت الشعبي. أعلن حل المنطقة فى 6 يونيه 1861، بعد شوية أشهر من التشكيل الرسمى لإقليم كولورادو ، لكن بعد أيام بس من وصول أول حاكم لها.
إقليم كولورادو
تم تنظيم إقليم كولورادو فى 28 فبراير 1861، من أجزاء من أراضى نيو مكسيكو ويوتا ونبراسكا ، والإقليم غير المنظم اللى كان فى السابق الجزء الغربى من إقليم كانساس .[ 3]
ولاية كولورادو
تم قبول ولاية كولورادو فى الاتحاد فى 1 اغسطس 1876. الحاكم، لازم يكون عمر الشخص 30 سنه على الأقل، و أن يكون مواطن أمريكى، و أن يكون مقيم فى الولاية لمدة سنتين على الأقل قبل الانتخابات. دعا دستور الولاية سنة 1876 فى الأصل لانتخاب الحاكم كل سنتين ، على أن تبتدى فترة ولايته فى يوم الثلاثاء التانى من شهر يناير بعد الانتخابات.[ 45] وزاد التعديل اللى تم إقراره سنة 1956، اللى دخل التنفيذ سنة 1959، لأربع سنين .[ 46] فى الأصل، ماكانش هناك حد زمنى مطبق على الحاكم؛ سمح تعديل سنة 1990 للمحافظين بأن يخلفوا نفسهم مرة واحدة بس.[ 47] بس، مافيش حد لعدد الفترات الإجمالية اللى ممكن أن يخدمها الشخص طالما أن الشخص اللى خدم الحد الأقصى للفترتين كان بره منصبه لمدة 4 سنين . إذا بقا منصب الحاكم فاضىا، يبقا نائب الحاكم حاكما.[ 48] إذا كان منصبى الحاكم ونائب الحاكم فاضىين، ينتقل خط الخلافة لالأسفل عبر كبار أعضاء مجلس شيوخ الولاية ومجلس ممثلى الولاية من نفس حزب الحاكم.[ 49] تم انتخاب نائب الحاكم بشكل منفصل عن الحاكم لحد تم تعديل الدستور سنة 1968 [ 50] بحيث يتم انتخابهما على نفس التذكرة .[ 51]
