Zalian Rural District (Persian: دهستان زاليان) is in Zalian District of Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Deh-e Kaid.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Nahr-e Mian.[5]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 2,911 in 771 households.[6] There were 2,408 inhabitants in 754 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 1,753 in 638 households. The most populous of its 23 villages was Zalian, with 444 people.[2]
