Yovon (Tajik: Ёвон) is a town in Tajikistan located in the Khatlon Region.[4] The population of the town is 36,700 (January 2020 estimate).[2] It is approximately 30 kilometres (20 mi) southeast of Dushanbe.

Yovon has a hot-summer Mediterranean climate (Köppen climate classification Csa). The average annual temperature is 14.6 °C (58.3 °F). The warmest month is July with an average temperature of 26.8 °C (80.2 °F) and the coolest month is January with an average temperature of 1.7 °C (35.1 °F). The average annual precipitation is 552.7 millimetres (21.76 in) and there are on average of 85.5 days with precipitation.
