Dan Feyen is the senator representing the 20th district. He was first elected in 2016 in the 18th Senate district, but ran for election in the 20th district after the 2024 redistricting.[3]

The portion of the district in Dodge and Washington counties falls within Wisconsin's 5th congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Scott L. Fitzgerald. The remainder of the district, in Ozaukee, Sheboygan, and Fond du Lac counties, falls within Wisconsin's 6th congressional district, represented by U.S. Representative Glenn Grothman.[5]
