Family of bacteria
Weeksellaceae is a family in the order Flavobacteriales.[2][3] It was proposed to be split from the Flavobacteriaceae in 2019, based on phylogenetic analysis.[1]
Genera
The family Weeksellaceae comprises the following genera:[2]
Phylogeny
The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature[2] and the phylogeny is based on whole-genome sequences.[1][a]
Notes
- ^ Spongiimonas and Wautersiella are not included in this phylogenetic tree.
