Washtenaw Technical Middle College (WTMC) is a Michigan Public School Academy chartered by and located on the campus of Washtenaw Community College (WCC) in Ann Arbor, Michigan.[4] The school allows students to obtain an associate's degree or Technical Certificate from Washtenaw Community College while earning their high school diploma.[5]
The mission of WTMC is "to transform high school students into successful college students by providing meaningful educational choices, individualized advising, and skill-based instruction."[6]

Drop in Graduation Rate
In 2016 the Dean, Karl Covert, reported a graduation rate of 96%.[9] By 2023 that rate had dropped to only 47%.[10] This coincides with the drop in overall rating with WTMC ranking as the 7th best High School in the United States in 2014[11] and in 2024 WTMC ranked as the 8,400 best High School.[10]
