- Project news
- With the conclusion of the 83rd Academy Awards and multiple other award shows, consider helping to further improve the articles nominated for the various accolades. Many have access to a large number of sources that can help push the articles to GAs. In addition, FLs can be developed for lists of accolades, especially since the majority of the awards and nominations have been announced. A listing of articles nominated for Academy Awards may be a good starting point.
- Per a recent discussion and poll, the "Preceded by/Followed by" parameters of the {{Infobox film}} template have been removed. All existing uses in articles will no longer be visible. Add the template talk page to your watchlist for future discussions on modifying the template.
- Bignole has requested that editors assist in peer reviewing Friday the 13th (franchise). Consider leaving some comments to help improve the article on its path to FA.
- Our project currently has over 82,200 film-related articles, with over one hundred and fifty unassessed articles, thanks to the assessment department! Remember to always add the
{{WikiProject Film|class=}} template to a film article's talk page so the project can get a better idea of what work still needs to be done. If you believe that an article should be assessed at a certain class, feel free to follow the assessment scale and assess the article yourself (it's not too difficult to determine the basic classes such as stubs, categories, or lists). Below is a table showing a breakdown of our articles by class.
- Based on views, the top five most popular articles from our project this month were: I Am Number Four, The King's Speech, Black Swan, 83rd Academy Awards, and 127 Hours. For a list of our project's top 1,000 most popular articles, see here. Consider helping to improve one of these articles that is seen by thousands to millions of people each month.
- Spotlight Update: Two film articles reached GA status in February 2011:

Hi there, reading this I understand that you are the source for those newspapers both for this year's donations stats that for data allowing comparison with last years. If I am right, is there a source that we can read to find out more about the countries who donated, the amount in national currency and so on for 2011 and before? Hi, I have prepared a page User:Siddhartha Ghai/List of colleges in Meerut. I think the page is now good enough to be moved to the main wikipedia and further editing can be carried out after the move is done. Also, what should the article be named?
- List of Higher Education/Educational Institutes/Institutions in Meerut
- List of Colleges in Meerut
Or should the list of schools(Only the ones till XIIth, not lower ones) be added to this page, and it be named:

Hi Tinu, Do you think you can on the file Anna_chandy_judge.jpg in ml which is nominated for deletion. This is copy of the pic File:Anna chandy judge.jpg from en.
