The conditions were summarised and inserted into the "Possibel escalation" section, and so it is now redundant. It has nothing to do with him being a ger, but I know his history and I know the reasons why he was banned from a certain forum. Just a reminder going forward, since I have unprotected the article now: Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you do so again in this article, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Although content-wise I sympathize with your edits here they are not vandalism but a content dispute. I blanked that section because it was so POV, and badly needed cleanup. I don't vandalise Wikipedia. I planning a rewrite, that outlines a few obstacles during his tenure, but not to the point it went. I read it, and what the message of section was to me was that Gary Bettman sucks. Booo!!! Yes. It has been discussed the since the beginning of March. Thank you for making a report about 80.99.230.56(talk·contribs·block log) on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! Hi, I received a warning for changing an article about Weebl and Bob. This edit may have come from the same IP address, but I can assure you that it was not me, as I have a dynamic IP address each time my router disconnects.
The only thing I can tell you is to register and get a screenname. Otherwise, if someone edits on your IP, even though it might not be you, it's still the same IP that you use. You recently edited the section to add the Divrei Chaim, Rabbi Chaim Halberstam to the list of the Chacham Tzvi's descendants. The previously listed descendants were his children and grandchildren. There are a number of generations missing between the Chacham Tzvi and the Divrai Chaim. At that generation there were hundreds of descendants of the Chacham Tzvi (see the Klilas Yofi, Ir Hatzedek and the much more recent Unbroken Chain II for a more detailed list). If you feel that the Divrei Chaim belongs in the article, please briefly list how he is a descendant.
Thanks

Regarding the speedy delete - first of all, it really was speedy; within a couple of hours it disapeared. Unless I would have monitored the computer 24/7, I could never have stopped it. Surely more time should be given for such a thing. Secondly, the article is dealing with one of the Eidah Chareidis, of which at least half the members have pages. This is the main Chareidi Beis Din in the world, and its 5 members should have a page each. Whilst I agree that more imformation was needed on the page, this is something to be worked on, rather than a speedy delete. Why is this member any less notable than the others ie Avrohom Yitzchok Ulman or Meir Brandsdorfer? Please reply on my talk page. Thank you. I looked through his contribution history and it seems that just before he started with this messianic nonsense he was involved in this nasty Haredi/Zionest fight with Daniel. Yidisher was editing articles with the premise that most Haredim are not anti-zionest and Daniel was editing on the oppisite premise. It looks like Daniel won. Yidisher might have been right but he did not go about his business using WP rules. In any case, I suspect that the loss pushed him over the edge and he decided to "screw everyone" and start with this messianic stuff.
I also saw the Weinberger article and thought about nominating it for deletion. I left it alone, however, figuring that it's preferable that he's involved with Weinberger-like articles then with... --Yeshivish18:01, 7 September 2007 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2007-09-07T18:01:00.000Z","author":"Yeshivish","type":"comment","level":3,"id":"c-Yeshivish-2007-09-07T18:01:00.000Z-Yossiea-2007-09-07T17:28:00.000Z","replies":[]}}-->
Yep, and I am also privy to off-wiki emails where he really gets off on the messianic bit claiming that it's better for an irreligious Jew to be in with them than to stay irreligious. I just hope he either tones down, or loses interest in his fad for disrupting Wikipedia. I can't believe I have to watch an article on Avigdor Miller to prevent him from ruining it. Sadly, this is one reason why I think Wiki won't be considered authoritative. If people are scared away from editing, then the articles will reflect the winning view and not necessarily the NPOV.

I have added over twenty new citations including two key ones where AJOP was discussed in major Jewish communal and academic forums, see Association for Jewish Outreach Programs#Connection with Haredi Judaism. I have added an AJOP as an international Jewish resource section, based on painstaking research and not from "spam" or "blogs" and citing each link in detail. I have also added information about AJOP's origins, and where it fits into the broader scheme of things in the Orthodox world. Thank you for giving this matter your utmost attention, and I sincerely hope that based on the latest version of the article you will reconsider and withdraw your nomination at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/AJOP which I believe was done in too much haste. Thanks again. Sincerely, IZAK08:13, 21 September 2007 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2007-09-21T08:13:00.000Z","author":"IZAK","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-IZAK-2007-09-21T08:13:00.000Z-Please_reconsider_your_nomination","replies":["c-Yossiea-2007-09-21T15:08:00.000Z-IZAK-2007-09-21T08:13:00.000Z"]}}-->

I have also updated each user page with the appropriate templates, and set up the suspected and confirmed category pages. Please read either one. Next puppet, there is no need to list it on a page, proper tagging will take care of it. Thanks. -- Avi18:21, 1 November 2007 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2007-11-01T18:21:00.000Z","author":"Avraham","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Avraham-2007-11-01T18:21:00.000Z-Daniel575?","replies":[],"displayName":"Avi"}}-->

Hi Yossiea: Looks like you were too much in a hurry to delete an article about Rav Avrohom Yitzchok Ulman a very notable posek in Jerusalem. I know you are upset at User:Daniel575 (most normal people are) but he did contribute worthy material about Haredi and Hasidic Judaism to Wikipedia which needs to be preserved and not deleted, especially if it is of a non-controversial nature. You could have placed a note to request an update with the article at WP:JUDAISM. Sometimes, minor personalities should have their bios pulled from Wikipedia, but with famous rabbonim, even though there might not be enough good info right away, you need to show more patience and not jump the gun. Otherwise it may seem that you have your own POV agenda here to eliminate certain rabbis. So please take care in the future, as you have done this quite a few times already. Best wishes, IZAK12:34, 8 November 2007 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2007-11-08T12:34:00.000Z","author":"IZAK","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-IZAK-2007-11-08T12:34:00.000Z-Rabbi_Avrohom_Yitzchok_Ulman_AfD","replies":["c-Yossiea-2007-11-08T14:32:00.000Z-IZAK-2007-11-08T12:34:00.000Z"]}}-->
I didn't jump any gun. The article was tagged since Feb. 2007 and I just put the AFD up. All I wrote is that there are no sources and most of the article is OR. Firstly, let me wish you a very happy New Year and thank you for your help in the Milhist Tag & Assess 2007 drive.
Secondly, although the Tag & Assess 2007 drive is now officially closed, you are very welcome to continue tagging and assessing until 31 January 2008. Any articles you tag and assess during this time will be credited fully to your tagging tally for further award purposes.
Thirdly, if you can find the time, it would be great to have your feedback/comments and participation in the recently-set-up Tag & Assess workshop The idea is to see what lessons we can learn from the 2007 drive to make the 2008 one more efficient and enjoyable.

Hi Yosiea: I am reposting the following request from User Sh76us (talk·contribs) on my user talk page for wider notification:
I was thinking of trying to stimulate development of a series of articles on Gemara concepts and doctrines, maybe to help children or newcomers to Gemara with explanations of some fundamental concepts that recur throughout the Gemara. Some examples might be articles on Yiush, Chazakah, Ta'aninun (as in "Ta'aninun L'Yoresh"), Eidim Zomemin (forgive my awful transliterations), Migu, etc., etc. Maybe we could even create a category or subcategory for it. I created Breira in this vein. As I don't have the experience or expertise in Wikipedia to know what to do to best develop this idea, I figured I'd come to you for your opinions on: (1) whether it's a good idea; and (2) How to best go about implementing it. Thanks Sh76us (talk) 15:56, 14 January 2008 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2008-01-14T15:56:00.000Z","author":"Sh76us","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Sh76us-2008-01-14T15:56:00.000Z-Idea_for_Talmud_articles","replies":[]}}-->

In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to meta:Wikimedia New York City activities, and have salon-style group discussions on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects (see the last meeting's minutes).
Well also make preparations for our exciting Wikipedia Takes Manhattan event, a free content photography contest for Columbia University students planned for Friday March 28 (about 2 weeks after our meeting).
In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and (weather permitting) hold a late-night astronomy event at Columbia's telescopes.
You're also invited to subscribe to the public Wikimedia New York City mailing list, which is a great way to receive timely updates. This has been an automated delivery because you were on the invite list. To Do
One new Judaism-related article was created this month, the long requested Hebrew Punctuation. Thanks to Epson291 for creating it. Remember, folks, there are over forty standing requests for Judaism articles, so whenever you get the opportunity make sure to go create a few.
In the right column you will see a listing of our most popular articles. All of these articles got 170,000+ page hits in the past month, and they should be on everyone's watchlist so we can keep them vandalism-free.
Spread the word! No, not the Word... (well, you can do that too) I'm talking about inviting knowledgeable users to join the project. You can proclaim your undying love of WikiProject Judaism in methods mild to wild, check the project template page and member list for examples. We also now have a flashy advertisement, to use it add {{Wikipedia ads|ad=148}} to your userpage.

Now with 200% more Jewishness!
Yes, folks, we're moving on up. This newsletter is now the newsletter for both WikiProject Judaism, WikiProject Jewish History, and WikiProject Kabbalah. In the future, I may split them, but for now I think we'll be just fine with one. As always, any questions or comments should be directed to me, L'Aquatique.
A Special Dispatch
Just a note, not aimed at anyone in particular. By order of the administrative cabal, it is officially not cool (and possibly dickish) to call someone an anti-semite when they aren't being anti-semitic. Anti-semitic is a very charged word, and it's important only to use it when you're absolutely sure it applies, lest it become the subject of a Godwin-esque law. Remember Hanlon's Razor: never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. In the News
A new class on the importance scale has been added- C Class- which covers articles better than start but not quite to B Class yet. It is up to the WikiProjects to decide whether to adopt them or not. Currently, there has been little discussion within our Projects, so if you feel strongly either way be sure to note so at your Project[s].
Thanks largely to the efforts of Xyz7890, a new navbox has come into being featuring Halakha topics. See: Template talk:Halakha to join in the conversation about how it can best be improved.
To Do
The Simple English Wikipedia is beginning a project of creating and improving articles related to religion, including Judaism. At the present time, volunteers are needed to propose our most important subjects for articles to be created. The official working list is here and a more extended list is here. If you are unsure of proper topics, you might try checking our lists of top importance level articles: Judaism and Jewish History. (WikiProject Kabbalah currently doesn't have such a list)
[Simple English] WikiProject Christianity is considering running a monthly drive wherein two or three top importance articles from English Wikipedia are simplified and moved over to S.E. They have extended an offer to work with us in creating a similar project for Judaism related articles. For questions or volunteer opportunities, please contact User:John Carter.
WikiProject Kabbalah is in dire need of an article rating system for quality and importance. If you are familiar with that system and have some time on your hands, please create one. It could also use some infoboxes...

"Censorship" of names of G-d
There is an interesting discussion currently taking place regarding whether or not it is acceptable to censor (i.e. G-d, HaShem->YodHey) names of G-d in articles to protect Jews who may be reading or editing the article. You can weigh in here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Judaism#Yahweh.
Article Cleanup Lists User:B. Wolterding has generously offered us use of his bot to generate lists that show which articles of ours are tagged for cleanup. You can read more about this service here: User:B._Wolterding/Cleanup_listings and if you would like to take him up on his offer, contact him on his talk page.
WikiProject Kabbalah's only Featured and Good articles have been removed from the WikiProject, on the grounds that neither article (Diane Keaton and David Beckham, respectively) actually mention the subject's affiliation with Kabbalah. If you have sourced information linking either of these people to Kabbalah, please add it so the articles can be returned to the WikiProject.
After a rather heated discussion, there are now two barnstars for use by the Jewish WikiProjects, {{The Jewish Barnstar}} and {{The New Jewish Barnstar}}, and you can choose which one you would like to use.. Remember: barnstars are for rewarding users who are doing good work on the project or on Judaism, Jewish History, or Kabbalah articles, and anyone can give anyone else a barnstar. If you see a user who you thinks deserves a thank you, give them a barnstar!
To Do/Help Requests
If you have some spare time on your hands, we could use an article about a Kabbalah scholar named Moshe Idel. According to HG there are quite a few sources easily available, you can contact him if you have questions. Be sure to nominate it for DYK if the finished article is eligible.
The folks at Shimon Peres need some assistance from someone familiar with both the Hebrew calendar and language to help them figure out the subject's birthday. If you can help, please see Talk:Shimon_Peres#Birthday.
We get a lot of articles that are being created and not announced! By announcing new articles, you attract attention to them, and the more people looking and editing the better they will get. If you would like your new article to appear in the newsletter, add it here for Judaism and Kabbalah and here for Jewish History.
There are some 40 odd standing requests for Judaism related articles. Please make them! I would, but I'm too busy writing this. .
This newsletter was automatically delivered because you are a member of one or more Judaism related WikiProjects. If you would like to opt out of future mailings, please remove your name from this list. As always, please direct all questions, comments, requests, barnstars, offers of help, and angry all-caps anti-semitic rants to my talk page. Thanks, and have a great month. Hello, I notice you're using one of the {{motd}} templates, run by Wikipedia:Motto of the day. You may have noticed that some of the mottos recently have been followed by a date from 2006, or on occasion simply "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The reason for this is that Motto of the day is in some very serious need of help. Participation in the project, which has never been especially high, has dropped considerably over this past summer, to the point we have had several days where no motto was scheduled to appear at all. Over the past several weeks, I've been the only editor scheduling mottos at all, but there aren't enough comments on some of these mottos to justify their use. If we do not get some help - and soon - your daily mottos will stop. In order for us to continue updating these templates for you, we need your help.
When you get a chance between your normal editing, could you stop by our nominations page and leave a few comments on some of the mottos there, especially those that do not have any comments yet? This works very simply; you read a motto, decide whether or not you like it, and post your opinion just below the motto. That's it - no experience required, just an idea of what you personally like and what you feel reflects Wikipedia and its community. If you do have past experience with the project, then please close some of the older nominations once they've got a decent consensus going. There are directions on the nominations page on how to do this.
If you have any questions, please let me know, or post on the project's talk page. I'm looking forward to reading your comments on the suggested mottos, and any additional suggestions you'd like to make. Until then, happy editing! WHATWikis Take Manhattan is a scavenger hunt and free content photography contest aimed at illustrating Wikipedia and
StreetsWiki articles covering sites and street features in Manhattan and across the five boroughs of New York City. The event is based on last year's Wikipedia Takes Manhattan, and has evolved to include StreetsWiki this year as well.
WINNINGS?
Prizes include a dinner for three with Wikipedia creator Jimmy Wales at Pure Food & Wine, gift certificates to Bicycle Habitiat and the LimeWire Store, and more!
WHEN
The hunt will take place Saturday, September 27th from 1:00pm to 6:30pm, followed by prizes and celebration.
WHO
All Wikipedians and non-Wikipedians are invited to participate in team of up to three (no special knowledge is required at all, just a digital camera and a love of the city). Bring a friend (or two)!
REGISTER
The proper place to register your team is here. It's also perfectly possible to register on the day of when you get there, but it will be slightly easier for us if you register beforehand.
WHERE
Participants can begin the hunt from either of two locations: one at Columbia University (at the sundial on college walk) and one at The Open Planning Project's West Village office. Everyone will end at The Open Planning Project:

I don't think this article should be speedily deleted. While I will admit that I am an avid snowboarder at Mammoth, so are hundreds of thousands of other people from around the world. If you ever go to the resort you will notice McCoy is practically worshiped as a deity there. I know its not enough for an article, that is why it is a stub. It is simply there to be expanded. Hello Yossiea, I have granted your account rollback in accordance with your request. Please remember that rollback is for reverting vandalism/spam, and that misuse of the tool, either by revert-warring with other users, or simply reverting edits you disagree with, can lead to it being removed. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. There are Hatzolah organizations in many towns and cities in the state of New Jersey. They have supported each other fraternally in various ways.
Clifton:Hatzolah of Passaic/Clifton EMS, shared with Passaic. This Hatzolah uses the Lakewood Hatzolah posek, HaRav Shmuel Meir Katz Shlita. This Hatzolah is geographically near Union City, and can provide extra coverage for them.
Deal:Chevra Hatzalah Jersey Shore, primarily serving the year-round Sephardic community in the Deal area (Deal, West Deal, Long Branch), but expands to cover additional Jersey Shore communities in warmer months. They loaned a spare ambulance to Passaic/Clifton for about six months in 2007-2008, to help start the organization.
Elizabeth:Hatzolah of Union County, also covers Hillside. Often shares classes with Passaic/Clifton, and has supplied community event coverage to assist Passaic/Clifton. Union County is geographically and organizationally separate from Union City.
Hillside: This community is contiguous with Elizabeth. The entire community leadership, including Hatzolah, is combined. Hillside is the smaller, more upscale part of the community.[1]
Jersey Shore: This is the official name of the branch in Deal. There are a total of seven municipalities covered by Chevra Hatzolah Jersey Shore.[2] This Hatzalah is the only Sephardic Hatzalah, and one of only two using this spelling (transliteration) in New Jersey.
Lakewood: The largest branch in New Jersey. Unique to New Jersey, Lakewood has a Paramedic (ALS) unit. The ALS unit is owned and run by MONOC, but the Paramedics are also Lakewood Hatzolah members, and the ambulance was donated by Hatzolah Lakewood to MONOC. This unusual arrangement meets New Jersey's strict hospital-based ALS rules, while giving Hatzolah its own ALS coverage. Also unique, Lakewood has its own Rescue (extrication) unit. The rescue unit has also performed a demonstration of its capabilities at an event organized by Hatzolah of Passaic/Clifton.
Passaic: Is contiguous with Clifton. The larger part of the single Passaic/Clifton Orthodox Jewish community lives in Passaic, and Hatzolah of Passaic/Clifton, covering both parts of the community, is primarily based in Passaic, with some members and management in Clifton.
Union City:Hatzolah of Union City, is run out of Yeshivas Sanz-Klausenberg, which is the center of the Chasidic community in Union City. It is the only Chasidic Hatzolah in New Jersey. Union City is located in Hudson County, and is not related to Union County. This Hatzolah is very close to Passaic/Clifton, and can provide extra coverage for them. Union City members sometimes attend Passaic/Clifton events.
Looks good, I would just move the Clifton down and leave it as Passaic/Clifton, and comment that the Clifton area is the area immediately bordering Passaic, or something like that. Also, I believe HOPC has their own rabbinical board and doesn't use Lakewood. (Even if it does, the Rabbinic board might use them, but HOPC uses their rabbis. I don't know if it's even necessary to include that.) One thing I noticed is that it is very HOPC oriented. I don't know if that's an issue but it is something to look out for. On January 27, 2010, you placed the following warning on this "user's" Talk Page:
"[top hand nuvola.svg] This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Methanol. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. Yossiea (talk) 17:38, 27 January 2010 (UTC)"
As you can see, the user is still vandalizing articles all over the place, and started doing so almost immediately after the last one year ban ended in December 2009.
How does one re-institute a ban on this IP address?

You might wish to add {{AFC status}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions. There is also a project userbox. If you haven't done so already, please consider adding your name to the list of participants.
Several of our members monitor an IRC channel, #wikipedia-en-afcconnect, and you are most welcome to join in.
