Feel free to leave me a message, but please be advised that:
If you are not familiar with how to use talk pages, it is a good idea to read Talk page guidelines before posting.
Please use the "New section" button/link when starting a new discussion. New threads should go to bottom of this page and should be properly titled so they don't get mixed up with other ones.
When replying to existing messages, you can find the appropriate section and click on "edit". Indenting your new reply is greatly appreciated.
For archiving purposes, please sign your comments with the four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your message. This only takes a few clicks and a few seconds, thanks. Unsigned comments are subject to removal without any response.
Do not change comments made by other users unless you have a strong reason to do so. Examples of reasonable changes include correcting error in link, fixing formatting, removing attack messages, putting new messages in a new section and so on.
Talk page vandalism will be reverted (by myself or other users) the moment it gets detected. This includes but does not limit to deletion of meaningful messages left by others, changes of meaning by refactoring others' comments, destruction of formatting, or a part of mass vandalism. If you also left a message in this case, you will not be responded.
Hi, in the last sentence of this Geist Wikipedia article excerpt in the Hegelianism section, is the word “are” meant to be “and”? The [sic] shown here is my own addition. It seems to make sense if it is an “and,” or that the comma after “(“national spirits”)” is a colon, other the sentence makes no grammatical sense and is confusing. Are you the author of this excerpt yourself by the way? Many thanks.
“Geist is a central concept in Hegel's The Phenomenology of Spirit (Phänomenologie des Geistes). According to Hegel, the Weltgeist ("world spirit") is not an actual object or a transcendental, Godlike thing, but a means of philosophizing about history.[citation needed] Weltgeist is effected in history through the mediation of various Volksgeister ("national spirits"), the great men of history, such as Napoleon, are [sic] the "concrete universal".[citation needed]”
So i was editing Landry Shamet's page because you know, no one is sure of anything, so when I wrote he may have played for the LA Clippers and possibly played three games in college, he blocked me.
