I'd like to come around here and say that the random IP's edits is certainly not of my doing. The Backtable account is my only account on here, for almost five years, and I have never had another account on here (save for some accidental IP editing in the past, which is not sockpuppeting and is not a blockable offense). It is not my style to vandalize user pages and, for that matter, to have such bad grammar and vocabulary as Mr/s. 96 did; if I've got an issue with a Wikipedia editor, I post on their talk page exactly what is on my mind, with an appropriate tone. The 96 IP is also based in St. Louis, Missouri (WHOIS lookup), while I currently live in Colorado. Next time you make a claim like that in public, you have to have more proof than that. I haven't created any WP:MEAT/WP:SOCK after Bloomgloom, I was already blocked for 1 week after that, I didn't know that there's no place for humour in wikipedia, I'll keep it in mind & regarding the topic band I just reverted an edit from a WP:GWAR IP, neither added genres nor removed. Therefore, I request for one final opportunity to make wise contributions, if I fail to abide by I won't appeal for block further. Thank you. Your topic ban was clear, you blatantly broke it almost immediately after coming off your previous block, and you reacted with scorn when you were caught doing it. Frankly I'm astounded that you weren't indifinetly blocked when it was discovered you had twice used sockpuppet accounts to try and avoid the topic ban. And I see no reason to believe you would respect it now when you knew all about it when you made the edit you did. In case you forgot, here in an exerpt from the closing statement:"Metalvayne is topic banned for one year from making any changes to genres in article space, whether in the text or the infobox. He is permitted to suggest them in article talk space, at a reasonable rate. If his suggestions there do not get support, he must not press them further. After the year, we can give one final chance, but if it continues disruptively, the topic ban is indefinite. I shall support it by reverts and after the first warning, an indefinite block. " So you see, you have already been given a last chance, and you repeatedly blew it, it just took a while for the appropriate consequences to manifest. Given your persistent disruptive behavior I would suggest that the standard offer to blocked users is your best path to being unblocked, but of course I will leave this request open for others to review. Not only is the topic ban very clearly worded, but a week ago, I warned him about it too, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Metalvayne#Topic_ban_-_Edits_regarding_music_genre.2Fstyle) saying that no edits to genre were acceptable, and he even responded that he wouldn't do it anymore. So I definitely don't believe any claims of "not understanding"...
