Hi. As with every abbreviation there comes a period after etc., and despite what the guardian's internal style guide says, all I can find on Google is that one should use a period after etc. By the way, etc. without a dot is on the Wikipedia list of common misspellings as

Ah I'm seeing it now first, it was your comment and not the actual article. This was not intended but the regex currently is not able to differentiate between this and as many typos as I remove, mistakes can sometimes happen.

I would be happy if I could help but I do not speak Chinese too. I think that Lky269 created several drafts covering similar topics and all got declined because of missing reliable sources is even more mysterious. If anyone can shed light on this, then probably only Lky269 can?

Today (1960 TV program) is an Australian television program too, so disambiguation by country wouldn't fully disambiguate these two articles but by year does. Or do you mean something different? @Hajoon0102: Where is the image within the image? This image was officially published by Apple for newspapers etc., just read the license I included in the file description. And all the icons on the image are Apple's property only. So your tag doesn't apply here. And keeping Double Disc Album is technically not useful as the redirect Double disc album already exists and MediaWiki isn't case sensitive; for Horror-Core I searched but couldn't find any sources for this spelling. You approved the AfC submission List of investigational autism and pervasive developmental disorder drugs recently, which is one of many drafts submitted by the prolific IP editor 76.174.0.57. The list is clearly worthwhile but I do note that it has 89 external links in its main sections and only three actual references. Is this appropriate for a list article? It seems to go against the guidance at WP:ELLIST. I'm not sure what to do here and would value your advice. Some of the links may be totally unnecessary, since there are valid wikilinks to existing articles. In other cases, it might be better to convert the EL to cites, and if so I'm open to doing that. @Mike Turnbull: Just wanted to note this, from the AfC reviewing guidelines: "Avoid declining an article because the references contain bare URLs or other reference formatting problems. Instead, run reFill (and check its output!) or tag the article with {{cleanup-link rot|date=October 2024}} or {{citation style|date=October 2024}}." (quoted from WP:AFCSTANDARDS). So Killarnee was following the guidelines in approving the page. In my own case, I had figured that the page could be tagged with a relevant clean-up template or that someone else with the know-how could fill the bare URLs. @Killarnee: It sounds like this would be better targeted to Boroughs of Karlsruhe. Typically we would expect a mention of the redirect at the target because, if someone is searching for that term, they typically expect to find some relevant information there. Otherwise it may come across as misleading if there's nothing there. I've retargeted it for now and marked it as reviewed. I'll likely be doing the same with a number of other redirects because I do think the boroughs article provides more relevant information. Well, the articles about the districts of Karlsruhe are mainly stubs and starts, so if the information about whether and if so how the district is further divided is not mentioned there, then the problem is not in the redirect, but it's in the article. I will add the information to the articles and change the redirects back if you're ok with that.

For example, Waldlage and Feldlage are located in Karlsruhe, but are not districts of Karlsruhe, but rather a partially internal and often cultural/historical subdivision of the respective district. I don't know how to describe this in English, it's a German thing (it doesn't even have an English article, w:de:Ortsteil, translates to "part of the district"). Therefore, I don't think directing the redirects to the boroughs of Karlsruhe list is right. @Hey man im josh: As a sample I added the information to an article that the district is subdivided, see Special:diff/1261033430. What do you think? This is probably too less information for a separate section, so I wrote it in the introduction. I would then do the same with the other districts and revert or adjust the redirects. But I would be happy to hear your feedback first.

By the way, it was not correct that with every redirect you edited, the redirect was not mentioned in the article about the district, see for example in the previously linked article Waldstadt (Karlsruhe)#History, where Feldlage was already mentioned before I created the redirect. I think that makes it a suitable target, but you a raise a good point about overdoing it with info. I liked that boroughs articles as a target because it has relevant info and you could click the parent area, but that's a personal preference. I did mark some redirects as approved when I saw that you had added relevant text to the target, so, at this point, I'd say it's a matter of personal preference. I took a picture of one of these road signs, this road sign is for Waldstadt Waldlage, maybe it helps understanding how the district/subdistrict things work, because I find it indeed not easy to understand it myself as it's locally different how these systems work. • Following an RFC, the policy on restoration of adminship has been updated. All former administrators may now only regain the tools following a request at the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard within 5 years of their most recent admin action. Previously this applied only to administrators deysopped for inactivity.
• Following a request for comment, a new speedy deletion criterion, T5, has been enacted. This applies to template subpages that are no longer used.

• Technical volunteers can now register for the 2025 Wikimedia Hackathon, which will take place in Istanbul, Turkey. Application for travel and accommodation scholarships is open from November 12 to December 10, 2024.

Arbitration

• The arbitration case Yasuke (formerly titled Backlash to diversity and inclusion) has been closed.
• An arbitration case titled Palestine-Israel articles 5 has been opened. Evidence submissions in this case will close on 14 December.

January 2025 Backlog Drive | New pages patrol
On 1 January 2025, a one-month backlog drive for new pages patrol will begin in hopes of addressing the growing backlog.
