Hey, hope this finds you well. I'm sure you remember Hopiakuta, the user who seems to be having severe trouble communicating with us. I stumbled upon him after reading through the list of potential adoptees through adopt-a-user, and have apparently become rather entangled in it. The WikiProject welcomes two new members in the past three months:

Progress

The WikiProject is now halfway done, numerically, with the 1000 articles identified in December 2006. The first (oldest) 500 articles have been claimed, reviewed, and (when needed, which was almost all cases) improved. Moreover, given the passage of time, many of articles 501 through 1000 have been worked on by other editors (it's ten months since that list was generated). So reviewing the second half of the 1000 articles should be easier.

A slightly different approach

Section 6 (articles 501 through 600 on the list) has been organized differently than the previous five sections. First, blocks are (roughly) five articles each, rather than 10, making it easier for you to claim and finish a block. Second, perhaps more importantly, each block consists of similar pages; if you're interested in fixing disambiguation pages, there are blocks of those; if you're interested in articles (which is what the project originally started out being), there are blocks of those; and there is one block of lists and one of redirects (mostly redirects to articles). So, fewer surprises this time when you claim a block.

In addition, since the project now has 25 active members (though some are likely inactive), having more blocks will make it easier to spread the editing around.

As I am not an administrator, I do not know if AN/I is an active page and whether the reports there are monitored frequently. So perhaps I am making an ass of myself by bringing up a topic which you are already familiar with. But your user description says that you are the person to contact about deleted pages.

I am not interested in recreating a page. I am interested in providing documentary evidence of an (in my opinion serious) administrative abuse which is discussed in the AN/I under "Irresponsible Editing of Archimedes Plutonium". The issue itself is discussed there, and I will not repeat it here.

Unfortunately, all evidence of wrongdoing is contained in the history page of the article in question, which was immediately deleted after I placed the notice on AN/I. Leaving a person who is interested in verifying the claim with no recourse. I was hoping that perhaps you could take a little time to verify the claims, and if they are not frivolous in your eyes, perhaps you could put up the disputed page or the history, somewhere where an administrator could look. If this is possible, I would appreciate you telling me so I can fix the links on the AN/I complaint.

I am not an administrator, and I am not a Wiki veteran, so I don't know how to verify if my request is being looked at, or whether people think it is a sensible complaint. I would therefore appreciate feedback, if that is possible and if it is not a violation of etiquette. If the administrators can see the deleted page, there is no cause for undeletion and I am sorry I wasted your time. But could you fix the links on the AN/I page so that they link to the proper part of the page?
