Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. I haven't absolutely vandalized Wikipedia, but I don't realize why it is impossible for me to correct a wrong information : Bushwick has 129,000 inhabitants(http://www.nyc.gov/html/dcp/pdf/census/census2010/t_pl_p1_nta.pdf ), but it isn't possible to put this resource between the ref symbols as before. Can you help me ? Thank you.
Your edit removed a formatting code, which subsequently removed the link to all of the references on the page. Please re-add your edit, but take a moment to first read Help:Editing. Before you go live with your edit, try some test edits using your sandbox. A few weeks ago I created this article, Holt Street Baptist Church. It has a lot of different types of references, and will give you a good idea of how to cite articles. Copy the coding of that article into your sandbox and mess around, because any more sloppy edits may find you in hot water. Thanks for adding a source for your edit though. Feel free to ask for help. But why isn't possible to write that Chinese Super League in 2015 has had an average attendance of over 22,000 ( and it will be surely over 25,000 in 2016......) and that the league of basket has only 3000/4000 average attendance ? With the arrival of great players in the CSL, with fantastic deal tv and with the enormous fotball projects of the president of China, the whole world knows that football is already the number sport in CHINA !! Is Wiki becoming a tyranny ?
Can you explain me why it isn't possible to correct the capacity of the Orlando City stadium (but also the Yankee and the Gillette stadiums) for the MLS games (it isn't absolutely 19,500...) ? The average attendance of Orlando City is 34,535 and above all the lowest home attendance has been 24,109 (May 25 vs. Philadelphia). Therefore isn't possible that the capacity of the stadium for the MLS is less than 24,000...... I think that the goal of Wiki should be to improve. Thank you for the reply.
P.S. To add the average attendances of all the MLS clubs.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Central Park Tower, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I don't realize what is the problem. I just updated the old (many of the 2009...) images of the subway entrances, I just put other subway entrances (see the 59th St Columbus Circle, Fulton Center and 42nd Times Square stations for example) and above all I put subway entrances and platform images where there were images of streets without stations or even restaurant interiors...(only for example, to see the Franklin Street station)! I lost a lot of hours (and many nights) in this huge work because I love the NYC subway. I love also Wikipedia and I think that is it necessary to correct the evident errors. I think that they were important contributions to improve the NY subway page and as a thank you now I can't see the subway entrances of Google streets on the wiki pages...
In many images it wasn't possible to see many entrance stairs and I with an infinite patience i have updated them! But I was unjustly punished. However if it isn't possible to contribute on wiki (and my contribution was 100% without interest...), I will create my new NY subway site with all the entrances and the platforms. I hope in your reply. Thank you.
P.S.
If you see this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/125th_Street_station_(IRT_Lexington_Avenue_Line) it is easy to notice an huge error: if you click on the 125th Street entrance from Google Maps Street View (in the external links section), you don't see an entrance in the street, but another platform...
And this is just a simple example of the many errors in these NY subway stations pages.
Now, if I correct these errors, you can block me. I don't think that this is the right attitude to improve Wikipedia...
What do you suggest me to do? Thanks for your possible help. Forza NYCFC !! Short answer; we don't need Google streetview links to every subway station. Wikipedia is not a directory or a transit guide. Most of the other links in the External links section should be removed per WP:EL. You are invited to join the Wikimedia NYC community for our Hacking Sunday at Prime Produce in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. It is intended primarily for technical contributors, though newcomers are welcome as well! The event runs for the whole day, though you are welcome to come by for as little or as long as you'd like.
A documentary filmmaker will be in attendance, working on Rabbit Hole, which aims to document Wikipedia's community to showcase how our network tackles important questions about how history is recorded. They will be in attendance to film snippets of this gathering for the documentary. It is completely optional to be a part of the film and there will be protocols in place if you wish to not be filmed. If there are any questions about the filming please reach out to the filmmaker, Meg Vatterott ([email protected]).

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page.
