I'm glad to see you're a fan of Vieta... We should create a fan club. I think that : the three words you removed (honnest, faithfull, etc) are in RItter (see Fréderic RItter in french). But, netherthless, youre right : it's not neutral. I had created about 100 articles on the Wpfr around Vieta. It'd be interresting to translate a great part of them in english, german, italan...russian... . But i have a lake of courage, time, and so on. I tried to translate Vieta and new algebra but i'am not native and i need help for the others. Bye.
