About Neutral point after your recent deleting on 'Joshua Wong'
Hello, please, read this about Neutral point of view:
All encyclopedic content on Wikipedia must be written from a neutral point of view (NPOV), which means representing fairly, proportionately, and, as far as possible, without editorial bias, all of the significant views that have been published by reliable sources on a topic (from Wikipedia:Neutral point of view.
So, as cited above, it was wrong with your recent deletion (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Joshua_Wong&diff=901762150&oldid=901648686) because of reason that "film director is pro-establishment". To say true, I don't know any details about the film director, but hope when you read 'Neutral point of view' it will be helpful. Best wishes.
Corachow, we are not free to change the contents of a quote to match the usage elsewhere in the article. Per MOS:QUOTE and its initial subsection on Original wording,
Quotations must be verifiably attributed, and the wording of the quoted text should be faithfully reproduced. It's why we don't change "don't" or "it's" in a quote to "do not" or "it is", even though the manual of style says we shouldn't use contractions in article prose, or why we retains the British spelling of a quote even though it's in an article that uses American spelling (or vice versa): the quote needs to be reproduced in its original form.
I understand why you thought you should do what you did, but for Wikipedia that change from "Heather" in the text being quoted to "Morris" is not a valid change—the original source has "Heather". I'll be reverting to the original "Heather" shortly; please do not try to make that change again. Thank you for your understanding. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:29, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies: I just went to the article and saw that you'd self-reverted a couple of minutes later, so everything is all set. The notification I got that you'd reverted me did not, unfortunately, go on to say that you'd made a subsequent edit, which I didn't realize until I checked the article history. Thanks for the quick work. The direct link to the policy is at MOS:PMC. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:33, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've seen Mrs. Ogden's name in the newspaper a lot over the years (living near Toronto), so it's great to see that someone took the time to write an article about her.
I had written "Welcome to Wikipedia!" in this message, initially, but I see that you've been with us for over 11 months. Are you aware that you don't have to use the Articles for Creation process at this point? That's really only intended for people early in their Wikipedia journey. Don't get me wrong, you're welcome to use it as long as you'd like, but you can leap right into publishing at this point. Should you so choose. -- Zanimum (talk) 16:55, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! This is only the third page I've created. Someone suggested deletion for my first page, who turned out to be a troll, and I had in some troubles with copyright with my second page (which was resolved), so I figured it would be safer to use the Articles for Creation process Corachow (talk) 17:02, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I am writing to you regarding the template messages on the page. Thank you for the link to the excessive citations article. I will be improving the article by reducing the citations. Concerning not reliable sources, I have spent a lot of time over the years obtaining facts. Please provide your questions. Farrelljdf (talk) 03:41, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Farrelljdf. For the excessive sourced part, it's mainly about her promotion and her principal role debuts. I think if you only cite her bio and this Pointe Magazine article, it would remove most of those sources, though it would not indicate when did Shevchenko made these debuts, so you can put "since her promotion, she has danced roles such as..." On unreliable sources, per WP:RS, blogs and forums are not reliable. However, many of them will be removed when you use her ABT bio, so it would not be a huge problem.
I also don't think we need to list every teachers and choreographers she worked with, just the ones with pages would be great. There's also some points I want to add in the career section, and the tone needs to be more neutral, I can work on that later. Corachow (talk) 12:35, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Corachow - OK, I'll bite: What makes you believe Jurgita Dronina lives in Toronto? Why not England, Lithuania, or somewhere else? Do you have a reference to back it up?...........Regards, PKT(alk)14:06, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
According to this article, she lives in Toronto. I have cited this article in the personal life section, but this article is published prior to her joining the English National Ballet. In this article, which I did not cite, she calls Toronto home.Corachow (talk) 14:10, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
However, it is also important to note that she lived in London for six months after she joined ENB, then returned to Toronto. She now travels to London and other countries to perform, but primarily stays in Toronto Corachow (talk) 14:23, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've been seeing your work all over the place! Thank you for cleaning up and producing fine biographical articles on ballet dancers. Dkreisst (talk) 06:38, 23 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
On 20 June 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Nikisha Fogo, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Nikisha Fogo. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Nikisha Fogo), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. On 1 July 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Taylor Stanley, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Craig Hall, the first African American in New York City Ballet to dance the title role in Apollo, went on to teach the role to Taylor Stanley, another dancer of color? Thank you for your exercised patience with me over the hooks on Sunny Cheung, I sometimes feel overwhelmed with technical issues due to personal limitations for which you've been very patient. I thank you once more. ^_^ CoryGlee (talk) 17:27, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, CoryGlee it's been nice working with you. I had lived in Hong Kong for a very long time, so it's nice to see someone trying to put a fellow HKer on DYK! I mainly work on other stuff, but if you ever need my help on other HK articles, just leave me a message! Corachow (talk) 17:30, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Figo Chan
Hi again, it's me again my friend, it's this that I find Hong Kong fascinating that I want to ask you something. Vice-convener of the Civil Human Rights Front and Long Hair appeared in the news in my country last week. Long Hair has its article, but not Figo Chan, want to embark with me on trying to create his article? He appeared because of his arrest in April. Thank you and of course, it's not mandatory to help me, but together, we can create his article if you wish. CoryGlee (talk) 17:41, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi CoryGlee, I just did a quick search, it seems like Figo Chan doesn't have a page on Chinese Wikipedia either, so I guess it would be more appropriate to have the Wikipedians there work on that first. I am planning on creating articles about some HK District Councillors, Jannelle Leung, Jocelyn Chau, Karrine Fu, Jordan Pang and Cary Lo. Do you want to work on these pages first? Corachow (talk) 17:48, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Perfect! Yes!, I will try to work on some of those you mentioned from tomorrow, it's a busy day here ha ha. Be known that I work with English sources, you will surely be able to expand them. I'll be working on HK articles ^_^ Thank you I cherish you all. --CoryGlee (talk) 18:21, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
CoryGlee, we can work on Jannelle Leung through this page. I will do a rough translation of the Chinese version as soon as possible. I already have an idea for Jannelle Leung and Jocelyn Chau to appear on DYK together so we should move the two on main page within the same week. Corachow (talk) 19:45, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! do I have permission to edit on your sandbox?. I made a Google Translation of Jordan Pang this morning and this is hard but I'd put my uttermost effort. I will help you through next morning, I wake up early in winter (Argentina). I will expand on what you asked me to write. I will help myself with Google Translate and look for fair use of their pictures, do you think we can use fair use? CoryGlee (talk) 20:49, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
CoryGlee I don't think you need permission to edit my sandbox, so feel free to do so. You can put what you have on Jordan Pang here. I think the policies on Chinese wiki is different (I'm not active there), so we still need to make lots of adjustments. Corachow (talk) 20:56, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Perfect then!, I will work on the three of them, and yes, some adjustments and other things are needed, Google Translate helps me. I became interested in the Hong Kong cause for a sad incident when they attacked with hammers to Sham Tsz-kit last year, as if you wondered my interests xD. --CoryGlee (talk) 21:09, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
CoryGleeHere's the sandbox for Jocelyn Chau. I've put some basic facts on the Jannelle Leung page. And about images, I prefer using the ones from the Chinese pages you can always use other free ones!. Corachow (talk) 21:58, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I am afraid I can't expand Mr. Pang any longer due to my lack of Chinese language knowledge, I apologise. I'll work on the rest. --CoryGlee (talk) 12:26, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
CoryGlee I just realised there's a page for Jordan Pang under Pang Ka-ho, which was not linked to the Chinese page. I should've check first, so I'm very sorry. You can put what you have there first so you can also be credited. I will request the current sandbox be deleted soon. Corachow (talk) 12:41, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No problem!, I've replaced with more accurate information, should we request the page be moved to "Jordan Pang" due to MOS? --CoryGlee (talk) 13:48, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Corachow I thank you uttermostly for mentioning me in the nomination. I will work on Jannelle Leung tomorrow, I found smoe English sources on her. I have to go slow, personal hindrances ^_^ . But will continue to contribute to articles of Hong Kong. My greetings. CoryGlee (talk) 21:27, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As I saw you took charge of Ms. Leung I expanded Jocelyn Chau, can you please check if Chinese sources which I translated coincide with what I wrote? Thank you. --CoryGlee (talk) 12:54, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, List of 2017 ballet premieres, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
This draft does not satisfy list notability, and appears to be incomplete.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Hello, Corachow.
Ingrid Silva herself has contact me to upload her content to Wikipedia. She has given me the text and the sources you saw and complained about the fact that you keep changing it back. If you wish to keep her content on Wikipedia with your authorship, please, give me your e-mail adress and I will be happy to send you the text and sources that she gave me. I believe that her wishes count more here.
Thaks for your understanding. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cristina Mascarenhas (talk • contribs) 20:57, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Cristina Mascarenhas: That's a clear violation of the conflict of interest policy. Also, you must use reliable sources when you edit Wikipedia. Texts the subject provided to you are clearly unreliable. However, if you can provide the sources you have, feel free to leave it here, I will see what I can do with them, but I will not disclose my email. For now I will revert the page to the previous version. Corachow (talk) 21:06, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Corachow: Hello again. I understand your point and I`d like to explain that I`m a Brazilian journalist who recently interviewed Ingrid. The dancer asked me if I could update her content on Wikipedia and I said I could. The informations you see about Ingrid`s biographie are taken from our interwiew. And the quotes are from some jourlanist reports. The final text was written by me based on the interview and the reports. Please, if you can consider my text, I believe her Wilipedia page will be more complete. Just check the informations and the links followed. Appreciate your atention.
INGRID SILVA
Ingrid dos Santos Oliveira Silva, better known as Ingrid Silva (Rio de Janeiro, November 1988), is a Brazilian dancer who consolidated her career as she joined the historical Dance Theatre of Harlem, in New York, US, as the first ballet dancer – the highest post of a ballet company.
Besides presenting ballet shows in over 10 countries, Ingrid has worked with several well-known choreographers such as Arthur Mitchell, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Donald Byrd, John Alleyne, Darrel Grand Moltrie, Francesca Harper, Robert Garland, David Fernandez, Carol Arrmitage, Deborah Colker and Rodrigo Pederneiras.
Childhood
Born in Benfica, a neighborhood located in the north of Rio de Janeiro city, Ingrid is the oldest daughter of Maureny dos Santos Oliveira and Cláudio Santos da Silva. Since her daughter was 3 years old, Maureny was concerned about keeping Ingrid and her brother, Bruno dos Santos Oliveira, occupied between the school activities and swimming, football and volleyball classes. The activities were part of a Mangueira Sportive Reference Center’s social project, that provided free classes to low-income children and teenagers.
Maureny observed Ingrid’s inclination to ballet when she saw her daughter imitating a dancer steps who was on TV. “She used to stand on tiptoe, holding the furniture and imitating the dancer that she saw on TV. That encouraged me to put her on dance classes”, said Maureny in an interview to the podcast Negra Voz (Black Voice).
Ingrid’s first official contact with ballet came when she was 8 years old, when the same Reference Center in which she had sports classes, in Mangueira Olimpic Village, started the Dancing for to not Dance Project. Ingrid joined the Program in which she began to took ballet classes.
By that very Project, she had the chance to continue her studies in Dance and win full scholarships at the Maria Olenewa Dances School and at the Deborah Colker Moviment Center. At 17 years old, after doing an audition to Grupo Corpo (Body Group), Ingrid had the opportunity to be an intern in the company.
Career abroad
Ingrid followed the steps of many black classic dancers who had to leave Brazil to succeed in their careers. The first female black dancer of the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theatre, Mercedes Baptista, only joined the institution’s corps de ballet in 1948. Until 2019, that same institution had no black dancer in the positions of first dancer or soloist.
The black movement activist and historian Beatriz Nascimento’s daughter Bethânia Gomes was the first Brazilian black woman to become the first dancer in an international company when she joined the Dance Theatre of Harlem. When she got pregnant, Bethânia decided to go back to Brazil and, in a visit to one of the Dancing for to not Dance classes, she met Ingrid.
Noticing Ingrid’s talent, Bethânia suggested to the head of the Project that they sent a video of Ingrid to the Dance Theatre of Harlem, which in that occasion was selecting participants for their Summer Intensive. Ingrid was selected in a process that involved around 200 applicants.
In 2007, Ingrid went to New York to be part of the Dance Theatre of Harlem Summer Intensive and, at the same time, to make a presential audition with Arthur Micthell, the Dance Theatre of Harlem’s founder. Micthell, the first Afro-American dancer of the New York City Ballet, got impressed by the technique of the Brazilian dancer and picked her to be part of the dance school of the institution. However, after only 3 months, as he observed Ingrid’s talent, Micthell decided to invite her to be part of the Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble, the institution young company.
In 2012, with Virginia Johnson joining the Dance Theatre of Harlem as the new head of the artistic direction, Ingrid was chosen, along with other young dancers, to join the new formation of the institution’s official company. In 2014, Ingrid became the first dancer of the institution, reaching the highest post in a ballet company.
“I’d like to dance in more places, not only with my company, but representing more of the ballet culture in places in which female black dancers are not seen because it’s rare. And those who exist are not successful in Brazil. Everybody must leave here and go somewhere else because nowadays Brazil doesn’t see a black woman as a classic dancer. You seem like a myth and it shouldn’t be like that”, said Ingrid in an interview to the podcast Negra Voz.
Advertisements
Ingrid Silva has starred advertising campaigns of several important brands such as Activia, Loreal (Dark and Lovely), Sally Hansen, TNT, Muscle Milk, Capezio e ESPN women.
Pointe Magazine
The dancer was also the cover of the June 2017 Edition of the ballet specialized magazine Pointe, one of the greatest dance magazines of the world, becoming the first female Afro-American to cover the publication.
Alicia Keys
Ingrid was chosen by the American singer Alicia Keys to star the She Is a King campaign. The advertising, created to sell a jacket, celebrates female characters with life histories of fiber and overcoming difficulties.
In the video, Ingrid goes along New York streets in her tiptoe wearing the classic ballet dancer clothes. As she meets Ingrid in a stairway, Alicia Keys passes along the jacket with the quote She is a King to Ingrid, who keep walking along the city and, then, passes the jacket one more time to a mom who plays with her daughter in a park.
Journey to your Dream/Ingrid
In 2007, Ingrid starred, as Activia’s ambassador, the Journey to your Dream campaign. The movie tells Ingrid’s overcoming trajectory in ballet’s world, from her childhood to the great stages.
The campaign won several international prizes, including the prestigious Cannes Silver Lion.
