Hello there! I received your e-mail, and am replying to it here. Thank you for your kind regards! As for the watercolours you photographed, they are in the Category "John Reinhard Weguelin" on Wikimedia Commons, although I have updated the file descriptions and licenses, and requested renaming to shorter and simpler file names consistent with the majority of Weguelin's other paintings (we'll see if those are approved—if they are, I'll add them to Weguelin's gallery as well). As for your articles, they seem well researched, but we'll see if they run into any issues, potentially including conflict of interest. That's not my specialty, so I probably won't get involved unless I see an obvious issue—not sure whether this would be one as an external link. Dear P. Aculious,
Yet again, thank you for your help, most appreciated. I should mention that I am trying to shoot a better photograph of Rustic Phidyle to replace the current one, minus the frame etc. I haven't succeeded yet, and as I will be travelling again soon, may take me some time. When I have a better image I will have a go at replacing the old upload, which seems straightforward enough.
Thanks for the kind words regarding my little group of articles. You will have detected by now that I have been quite swept away by Weguelin's wonddrful art since I first discovered it just recently. I have enjoyed researching and writing these accounts, and who knows? If even a single other person reads one of them and learns to appreciate Weguelin's lovely paintings as they so richly deserve: well, that will be an excellent thing!
