I have not moved the category, as you will see that the original still exists and pertains to the whole of Ireland and the new pertains specifically to the Republic. If you examine most Ireland categories, they are divided into Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. Tim! I saw your post on the Ireland Collaboration page. In particular, "Arbcom have specifically stated that Domer's prevarications can be ignored". I presume Arbcom are the top dogs here on wikipedia? I hate to be nosey, but I'm wondering why they would say that. Some kind of bust up? Arbcom are the Arbitration Committee - a democratically elected body who do pretty much have the final say on disputes (though content disputes are normally outside their remit). Generally stuff that's beyond normal administrator level gets referred to them - such as the whole Ireland naming dispute issue. A request for clarfication was brought there last month (?) after, if I recall correctly, Domer created two subpages off the main project page for proposals of his, and insisted on removing comments, questions, etc., that didn't meet his criteria for inclusion on those pages, despite not being a moderator for the Ireland collaboration project. Arbcom's reaction pretty much was "Meh, ignore him." As I said on the IECOLL page, though, I can't find the link :-( BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ!13:06, 20 July 2009 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2009-07-20T13:06:00.000Z","author":"Bastun","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Bastun-2009-07-20T13:06:00.000Z-Coll_Mac-2009-07-20T11:51:00.000Z","replies":["c-Coll_Mac-2009-07-20T13:12:00.000Z-Bastun-2009-07-20T13:06:00.000Z"]}}-->

Sarah, it was an odd way of asking in fairness, although I don't believe you meant anything untoward by it. Anyway, policy says Because it is less transparent than on-wiki notifications, the use of email or other off-wiki communication to notify editors is discouraged unless there is a significant reason for not using talk page notifications. Depending on the specific circumstances, sending a notification to a group of editors by email may be looked at more negatively than sending the same message to the same group of people on their talk pages, but that conveniently is never employed regarding the abundant usage of emails and live chat among many admins over community goings on.... But I imagine what with the bank holiday weekend, and it being the middle of holiday period, lots of people will be coming along to this later. I wouldn't worry if people who normally participate haven't been seen yet. Actually I'm a "really having difficulty making up my mind on this" voter. Ever time I hear one of the advocates I am persuaded to vote the other way. (You'll appreciate I'm not a Cóir fan). Heh, indeed. I was very much undecided first time round, and went so far as to count up the advocates I didn't like/totally disagreed with on each side before narrowly deciding. Declan Ganley and Michael O'Leary neatly cancel each other out, and I was never a fan of Cóir or Corr fruitcakes. Gee, thanks for all your help. Your help has made you the most prolific helper so far. Perhaps there is nothing to be gained from such a record? Regardless, if you want to discuss or even ploace an opinion such as "Eh?", there is a talk page Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ireland Collaboration/Ireland Naming Dispute Evidence. I mean, what all should go the page? ~ R.T.G11:36, 12 October 2009 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2009-10-12T11:36:00.000Z","author":"RTG","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-RTG-2009-10-12T11:36:00.000Z-Recording_centralised_knowledge_on_the_Ireland_naming_disputes","replies":[],"displayName":"R"}}-->
A little bit of advice Bastun - you referred to me by user name and first name in your recent edit on the above mentioned - remove refernce to my username and first name immediately! I have not contributed to your silly unresearched essays on this incorrectepedia for a long time and unless you want to be in court I suggest you stop jumping to conclusions which are well wide of the mark. This is the only warning you will get - be careful!!!!! Garydubh (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:55, 22 October 2009 (UTC).__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2009-10-22T22:55:00.000Z","author":"Garydubh","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Garydubh-2009-10-22T22:55:00.000Z-Article_-_Irish_Postcodes","replies":[]}}-->
Bastun - You removed an entry in the above article on the basis that it was written by User:Garydubh - it was not - you are completely incorrect - please talk to the user who made the entry directly and avoid unfounded and unverified allegations in the future - doubt if you made any effort to check this out - just jumped to an assumption.
Furthermore allegations that that user had COI entries in this aricle are also incorrect - the user has made no contribution to discussion on this article since Jan 2009 and has had not entry in the article since April 2008 - you used this as a justification for blocking the user - again completley incorrect and unfounded. The user in question has no further interest in your article.
You made reference to a personal name in association with the accused user - the personal name is not a user name - do not use it here again.
You made reference to a company name in a derogatory manner implying that there was some issue with the work of the company - do not do so again.
Finally, if your article is about the official postcode system of Ireland - then the article should be removed as there is no official postcode system in Ireland yet and the provision of such is subject to an open tender comeptition which your discussion may prejudice and undermine and open youreslf and wikipedia to legal action.
Please do not mention relevant user name, personal name, company name or product name on this article or related discussion without the permission of the relevant owners.
Another employee of the company, then?
I didn't block anyone.
"You made reference to a personal name in association with the accused user - the personal name is not a user name" - eh, no, I didn't. Anywhere.
There was nothing derogatory in what I said about Garydubh's company. Unless "This system isn't official and has nothing to do with the official post code system being introduced." is somehow derogatory?
It's not "my" article. WP:OWN applies to every article.
The article is not about the official postcode system of Ireland, it's about the Irish postal system.
Legal threats get you blocked.
I will certainly mention User:Garydubh, GPS Ireland Consultants Ltd., and/or their GPS/GIS system in any relevant discussions. Last time I checked, WP's servers were still in the United States, which has a constitution that protects free speech. Even if they were in Ireland, I'd be entitled to do the same. I certainly won't mention any personal names, because I'm not aware of any. Apart from the 'Gary' bit of Garydubh's username, which is kind of obvious. The glowing side is the atmosphere lit up by the Sun's light energy and the oval of light is the aurora.
