Hello, I'm Plantsurfer. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Strongylodon macrobotrys seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Edits from this IP to Territorial disputes in the South China Sea did not justify the individual edits done or use Wikipedia:BESTSOURCES as sources. Selected edits unjustified at all were reverted and others have generated a formal reassessment process for neutrality. ChaseKiwi (talk) 22:15, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240617221500","author":"ChaseKiwi","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-ChaseKiwi-20240617221500-Plantsurfer-20240616213600","replies":["c-ChaseKiwi-20240617233400-ChaseKiwi-20240617221500"]}}-->
I have reverted unjustified edits you have done to article South China Sea Arbitration. Others have commented on your edits Timeline of the South China Sea dispute : Flesh out barebones cite. Modify aericle assertion to tone downWP:POVWP:OR and better reflect what the cited source contains. Changing detail to match what is actually stated in the source. ChaseKiwi (talk) 23:34, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240617233400","author":"ChaseKiwi","type":"comment","level":3,"id":"c-ChaseKiwi-20240617233400-ChaseKiwi-20240617221500","replies":["c-ChaseKiwi-20240618000800-ChaseKiwi-20240617233400"]}}-->
A specific example that I noted was that you removed without justification from a B class article the following referenced paragraph "In May 1956, the dispute escalated after Filipino nationalTomas Cloma and his followers settled on the islands and declared the territory as "Freedomland", now known as Kalayaan for himself and later requested to make the territory a protectorate of the Philippines. Tomas Cloma even stole China (ROC)'s national flag from the Taiping Island. In July 1956, he apologised officially for his act and he surrendered the flag he stole to China's embassy in Manila. On 2 October 1956, he wrote a letter and ensured he would not make further training voyages or landings in the territorial waters of China (ROC).[1]"
Such silent removal of information can undermine an articles neutrality. It looks like you are the same editor as or at least working with Ed8694. Vacosea (talk) 12:49, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240621124900","author":"Vacosea","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Vacosea-20240621124900-June_2024","replies":[]}}-->

The material you added to the Spratly Islands dispute was already present elsewhere in the article, so I reverted your edit. AntiDionysius (talk) 16:40, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240701164000","author":"AntiDionysius","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-AntiDionysius-20240701164000-Spratly_Islands_dispute_-_your_edit","replies":[]}}-->
Two more places where your edits do not appear in the sources cited. "binding the United States on its recognition of the Scarborough Shoal and the Spratly Islands as Philippine territory"[1][2] "no other state had claimed the Spratlys aside from the territory of the Philippines" (Award of July 12, 2016, South China Sea Arbitration, p. 253 and 474) Vacosea (talk) 19:03, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240703190300","author":"Vacosea","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Vacosea-20240703190300-July_2024","replies":[]}}-->
Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Batanes. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Maguindanao people. It may be advisable to escalate to an independent administrator for consideration of blocking as I have identified that user has reverted your appropriate appearing to me undo on List of Philippine mythological figures. The pattern of behaviour associated with this URL appears to be disruptive across multiple entries and I note sockpuppet issues in 2020 in this area of interest. The cleanup could be difficult as some contributions by user are verifiable and seem to result from knowledge. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into Kalayaan, Palawan. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. I have noted that you have recently added non justified edits to multiple pages and identified on investigation that some appeared to be copied from List of Philippine mythological figures. There appears to be a pattern of disruptive behaviour despite advice and warnings. I have reverted an unjustified edits on Kalanguya people that contained material could not be realistic verified due to poor inline referencing even though it may be useful contribution. In reverting your recent unjustified edit on Pangasinan people I discovered you had removed two good verifiable inline references and substituted in very poor reference style. Please adhere to WP:CITE. I am adhering to Wikipedia policy with regard to warnings but believe this edit by its nature may have been deliberate vandalism of others best practice.
