I have removed the 'woodworkers' section. There is no indication that the woodworkers listed are more important or influential than the 90+ woodworkers in the category furniture makers, or the 100+ names in the luthiers category. I do not see how this template could accurately list the most influential names from such a large pool. There are probably other categories with similar overlap. Timber framing is a type of carpentry which has it's own article. Should it be added to this template? For that matter, Log cabin and Log house could be added or a new article which covers all kinds of log building techniques could be started and then added (there are many, ancient techniques and uses worldwide).--Jim Derby (talk) 18:51, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2013-01-06T18:51:00.000Z","author":"Jim Derby","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Jim_Derby-2013-01-06T18:51:00.000Z-Adding_Timber_framing?","replies":[]}}-->
Yes, or even have its own dedicated template. Go for it, Jim Derby! The entry for Linden/Lime/Basswood is under the softwoods. However they are deciduous dicotyledonous angiosperms and therefore hardwoods. Fair enough, I've always seen it as softwood due to it's characteristics, but I guess in scientiffic terms it's classed as a hardwood. Moved it to Hardwoods Raymond Holmoey (talk) 20:06, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2013-11-01T20:06:00.000Z","author":"Raymond Holmoey","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Raymond_Holmoey-2013-11-01T20:06:00.000Z-Linden\/Lime\/Basswood_is_a_hardwood","replies":["c-Raymond_Holmoey-2013-11-01T21:49:00.000Z-Raymond_Holmoey-2013-11-01T20:06:00.000Z"]}}-->

Marquetry, parquetry, intarsia, purfling, binding (woodworking), edge banding, etc. seem like they need a category.
