The top 5 are Times Square (#1 worldwide at 35M), Met (#30 at 4.5 M), Statue of Liberty (#36 at 4.24M), AMNH (#40 at 4m) and the ESB (#42 at 4M).^[1] ^[2]

PS, many of the official web sites for attractions list "millions" or "thousands a day" and nothing more specific. I would take MSNBC/Forbes as a reliable source and use that list. All the other lists you mention don't say that they're based on hard data on visitor numbers.
