WP:Redlink does not apply. This is not article space and Navboxes have their own distinct policy on redlinking. The part of the a series exemption is used far to broadly for this template, the component articles are quite obviously not a series. A series of articles implies strongly a sequence of which there is none. This is just a group of commonly themed articles.

WP:EXISTING very specifically states that editors should be encouraged to write the articles first.
