@Demoxica: Re: this edit

In which way is it not international? I understand the term "international school" can be quite broad: it could mean a school with a foreign diploma/educational system, even if it mostly attracts local students. @WhisperToMe: I had removed Lycée Notre Dame de Sion Istanbul from the list as the school is subject to the regulations of the Turkish Ministry of Education[1] as opposed to the two other international French high schools on the list, Pierre Loti and Charles de Gaulle. At a second glance, many of the other establishments in the template also fall under this category, such as Cağaloğlu and Istanbul High School. I happened to remove NDS as I think I was only looking at the French high schools at the time. What do you think would be the best general approach? @Demoxica: I'd check the Turkish ministry of education to see how they categorize the schools, and then add said categories to this template. That way viewers know which schools are actually geared towards foreign children, and which ones are geared towards Turkish children but use foreign educational systems. @Demoxica: I found it: The "Private International Education Institutions" and "Private Foreign Schools" are separate classifications of schools according to the Turkish Ministry of Education: the former are attended by foreign students while the latter are attended by Turkish students and were set up in the past by foreign entities, and are guaranteed under the Treaty of Lausanne.

Now we need to know which are which... @WhisperToMe: Nice find! Among French high schools, Pierre Loti and Charles de Gaulle fall under the first category, while NDS would fall under the second. There are many other French high schools that could be listed under the second category like Sainte Pulchérie, Saint Michel (Istanbul and Izmir), Saint Benoit, Saint Joseph; not all of which have English Wikipedia pages.
Among German high schools, DSI falls under the second category. Neither Istanbul nor Cagaloglu would fall under any category, as they weren't found by foreign entities (similarly to Galatasaray).
I think both British schools would fall under the first category. Among American schools, Robert, Tarsus and Uskudar would fall under the second category and Ankara E/HS the first. Both Liceo Italiano and Sankt Georg would fall under the second category.
I haven't previously heard about the Japanese and Russian schools, nor was I able to find a lot of information about them. On a side note, I am almost certain that this list misses some schools, but I am unable to find a database of such schools which we could use to complete the list.
