The heading is misleading and inaccurate. English law is not applicable in Scotland or Northern Ireland and it appears to suggest Scots Law the oldest and most developed law in the United Kingdom is within English law. I think Wikipedia should combat the widespread anti-Scottish discrimination which is evidently visible within all Wikipedia pages relating to the United Kingdom, its history, its laws, its constitution and its armed forces. Note: @Meenmore: Although I have no power to change the template, I'm going to mark this edit request as answered to save an admin some time. I think there is a misunderstanding here with the template. Scots law and Northern Irish law is under 'related systems' - completely separate to English law but it remains there to help readers navigate more easily. @Meenmore: I looked through the edit history for Law of the United Kingdom and the original version of this article was written with all legal systems of the UK on the same level from 2003 through January 2016. It was just a test edit/vandalism by IP address (from a University so possibly a student) with only 3 edits on Wikipedia that removed the English law section heading entirely here on 26 February 2016 and a subsequent fix by another editor (who had just registered an account a few days earlier) here on 17 October 2016 that used the wrong section level for English law, a simple formatting error. This led to Scots law and Northern Irish Law falling under the heading of English law in the version of the page you subsequently edited here. All that was needed was to move English law back to a Level 3 heading which has now been done via several intervening edits here. In light of the discussion at Talk:Law of Canada#Deletion of "English law" box, which resulted in the removal of the this template from the article page, I think it makes sense to review the whole "Related systems" part of this template. I'm not sure what criteria are being used to add countries (if there is any objective criteria being use), but it seems to just be a list of common law countries. That's different from being "related to" English law. Instead, it should have it's own template box. We already have a {{Common law}} template, which is for a different purpose. I might suggest something like {{Common law countries}}. I'm going to add that most of the countries linked to in that section of the template (other than UK legal jurisdictions) do not have this template on the corresponding linked-to article, which I think further demonstrates the point that these countries should be split-off into a separate common-law template (as I think a template box with a list of common-law countries would be helpful to readers).
